The property is around 20-25 drive from the centre of sapa with minimal amenities close by. If you are staying as a group or couple and buy supplies before returning then i would reccomend this place. If however you want to enjoy evenings in sapa each day then you would clock up quite a high bill in taxis. The property was clean and in a beautiful location. For the price though it is very good.

If I could give the family alone 5 stars, I would. They invited us to join them for dinner each night (for 150k each) and it was a very nice experience! They also helped to arrange a trek through the area and a car back to Sapa town when it was time for us to leave. But anyone who is planning to visit in the winter should be warned that it is very cold and the home does not have heat which made it rather uncomfortable. Luckily, the days were sunny which helped but the nights were very cold. Also, the listing says free breakfast but it was not free. Highly recommend if you can handle the cold, otherwise definitely come in the summertime!
