I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. Security is excellent—you are screened each time you enter the property, which gave me peace of mind throughout my stay. The staff were phenomenal. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and eager to help. One of the bell staff recommended a local tour guide, and that recommendation became one of the highlights of my trip. I completed two tours with the guide and had an amazing experience. The hotel itself is very high-end, and the atmosphere was relaxed and professional. Having an ATM on-site was also very convenient. My room was excellent, with a beautiful view and every amenity I needed. Housekeeping was outstanding, and everything was consistently clean and well maintained. The dining options were great as well. I enjoyed both the main restaurant and the pool area across the street, which offered beach views, music, games, comfortable daybeds, and a full food and drink menu. The only drawback for me was the spa. Most of the staff I encountered there spoke French but limited English, and I wasn’t comfortable booking services without being able to communicate clearly. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The service, security, amenities, and atmosphere were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dakar.

Unser Aufenthalt im Pullman Dakar war von Anfang bis Ende erstklassig. Schon beim Check in wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und das gesamte Personal war während des ganzen Aufenthalts aufmerksam, professionell und hilfsbereit. Man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier großer Wert auf Service und Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Die Zimmer waren modern, sauber und sehr komfortabel. Besonders gefallen hat uns die angenehme Atmosphäre im gesamten Hotel. Alles wirkte hochwertig, gepflegt und ruhig. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, sowohl für Erholung als auch um Dakar zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend. Große Auswahl, frische Produkte und eine sehr gute Qualität. Egal ob warme Speisen, frisches Obst, Gebäck oder lokale Spezialitäten, alles war geschmacklich top und schön präsentiert. Einer der besten Frühstücksbereiche, die wir bisher in einem Hotel erlebt haben. Auch der Service rund um Restaurant, Pool und Lobby war jederzeit auf hohem Niveau. Kleine Wünsche wurden sofort umgesetzt und man hat sich als Gast wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Insgesamt ein Hotel, das seinen hohen Standard absolut erfüllt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Pullman Dakar ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.

I expected a bit better for the price and for the brand. Overall quite worn, dirty carpets, moldy molding, leaky toilet floor… it just wasn’t up to par with the Pullman brand and left me feeling like the lobby is what they focus on and not the rest of the hotel upkeep. Most of the pumps in the bathroom did not work, they tried fixing but they didn’t work and it left a lot to be desired for the price point. The staff were really lovely, the food was fantastic, but seems like they’ve had a hard time keeping up the rooms and the quality in-room.

Overall my stay was good. The staff were polite, the faculty were clean and in good condition, and the food was very good. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was very disappointing. I had an early flight at 7am and arranged a 5am pick. I was waited ovy15min. which already made me worried about missing my flight. Because I was in a rush, I paid what I was told and left. However, as I was about to exit the hotel, security stopped my car and asked me to return to reception. Two staff insisted I had additional charges for tax and food. At this point, I strongly felt I was being overcharged, and the situation became stressful. I didn’t have time to go back in forth correcting them, as my only priority was catching my flight. I told them to charge me my card whatever they believed was necessary so I could leave. The way the situation was handled felt like was being hassled and

The evening staff at reception and especially Mohamed made my stay perfect. They were so helpful in many ways such as finding me a taxi for a decent and honest fare. The day time staff at reception seemed less helpful. Not as welcoming and not recommending reasonable taxi fares. Mohamed was exceptional though. Super friendly and also the evening staff who helped me connect my laptop to the WiFi and made me complimentary drinks.

The hotel is nice and well-located. Facilities are also good. However, I noticed that some of the rooms need to be updated. Also, when I arrived, there were nontowels in my room. I had to call the lobby to get towels.
