Welcoming staff and clean room. Easy access to beach. Good place to stay for vacation

Perfect hotel, the only weekness was the 4pm tea. I wish there were snack cooked in front of guests like mandazi or packed potatoes or samosas. It becomes lively as in other resorts.

Traveling solo to Kenya for the first time, I was embraced by the staff at this delightful boutique hotel. They took the time to be sure I had everything I needed. It was a pleasure to be able to walk down to the dining room for tea in the afternoon and for delicious dinner in the evening. I give them my highest recommendation, particularly for solo women traveling to Kenya.

Nice with both fan and air conditioning. Both worked well. Did not see the ocean from my room but nice to have balcony (with garden view). Very beautiful gardens with funny monkeys jumping around.

Everything stood out. The beach views, the amenities, the staff was very accommodating and professional.

Hade kunnat vara toppen men besviken på flera saker, utcheckning redan 10.00. Det går inte att betala sin nota med kontanter .. och för mig som hade problem med kortet väldigt omständigt. En vän besökte mig för att prata och vi tog ett dopp i poolen/baren. För det badet debitera do. Mig 7000:- otroligt löjligt då det inte var yttligare en gäst som checkade in.

The room and amenities were great …as was the service

Excellent room. Great view from balcony overlooking pool and Indian Ocean. We coild sit outside and listen to the music at night. Room was spotless. We had half board. Food was ,satisfactory. Do not expect a gourmet experience—more at the level of a middle of the road chain restaurant in the US, but this is Mombasa. I would go here again if I were to return to Mombasa. Note that the roads in Mombasa to get here were awful. Traffic was disastrous, a manifestation of the local infrastructure

The food is awesome and the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful! These are the clear plus points of Severin Sea Lodge! Keep it up!

Everything was perfect.

Good Harty breakfast. Hygiene looked good.

Clean spacious rooms. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are nice and well lit.

Incredible experience

Severin Sea Lodge is a lovely beachfront property with clean rooms and great dining options — the breakfast and dinner buffet offered plenty of variety and tasted great. I really enjoyed the environment and overall atmosphere. My only negative experience was the check-in process, which took almost an hour due to limited staffing at night. Also, the reception area could use fans for guests, especially while waiting. If those issues are improved, this would easily be a 5-star experience

Everything was great except the wifi kept kicking off

Really enjoyed our stay here. The whole place is very atmospheric with beautiful grounds and friendly staff. The beach could be cleaned up from seaweed but the pools are lovely. Live music nightly with reasonable drink prices. Swahili lesson was great and other activities are offered.
