Beautiful property with perfect location on 7 Mile Beach. Our suite had a kitchenette and patio with an ocean view. We will be back.

The property was comfortable with great staff, proximity to the beach was also a plus. While we enjoyed the home-like feel of the villas it seems that general maintenence of the property has been lacking. The AC was leaking and looked as though it had been for some time as the paint was bubbling and discoloured. Bathroom tiles were damaged and faucets were leaking.

There was a roof replacement going on. The property while nice and quaint can definitely benefit for some refurbishing/renovating. The toilet was shaky and the toilet seat was smaller that the toilet bowl

My trip was very nice. The staff was great. Very clean. Felt safe. Food was good. Id definitely go back. Easy to get transportation. Hotel will assist.

Such a great property. The greenery and lush trees surround you. Not too big, not too small. Just right. I will definitely "Idle" again.

I enjoy my stay at Idle Awhile. All the staff were nice, great customer service. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Negril. Its walking distance to the parties for Dream Weekend.

Great place for that authentic island vibe! The people are extremely friendly and accommodating. Their recommendations were spot on. The location was within walking distance to shops, the bank, the grocery store and local fresh food. While the food at the resort was yummy, you should also try the places across the street! Would definitely recommend Idle Awhile!

Wonderful staff, beautiful beach, great for swimming, lovely quiet boutique hotel if you don't like large resorts, nice rooms with great balconies, great amenities, can't say enough good things about the staff on and off the beach, safe, 24 hour security guard and lifeguard

Beautiful property within walking distance to other local destinations. That hotel was just a bit too quiet for me compared to other hotels I’ve visited. It’s ideal for the senior crowd.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Idle Awhile Beach. This small, boutique resort is directly on the beach, but remains quiet and well maintained. Service and restaurant was great! Just a few steps away from many great food stands and a grocery store. Highly recommended!

The villa was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. However, one thing we noticed was the villa was very dark inside. There was no natural light coming through. There was just the kitchen light and a couple of lamps. Going up to the top bunk was ok but coming down was a little scary because of the darkness in the villa. A lamp or light to access would make it easier to come down. I think the lighting needs to be updated. It needs more of the natural light if possible. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This boutique hotel on the calmer part of 7 mile beach is A TREASURE! Our one bedroom suite included a large screened in porch with a dining table and hammock, delightful. Our room was spacious and high end from the designer floor tiles to the custom wood shutters. Loved it! The staff was attentive, morning coffee and toast delicious and we really enjoyed the SUPs, floatation cushions and the use of the hobbie cat. We will definitely be back!
