Villas were so close to the water and thr staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved our stay there.

The Crown Beach is a good resort. The staff are so lovely and pleasant. Vanna and the team in the spa are awesome and Jone, Maciu and Asena in the restaurant were fantastic plus it has the best value happy hour on the island!!! The location is wonderful for the sunsets, beach and snorkeling. With a shop and a takeaway across the road for convenience and the Edgewater down the road for added amenities and the car rental place. The pool suite was fantastic although like many properties could do with a refresh. Bed very comfy. Nice touch to have the fly spray and mozzie coils in the room. Also very appreciative of the bottle of wine and note to say congrats on our wedding. Only a couple of downs, the restaurant food was average to ok depending what you ordered. Also trying to book stuff was difficult. Also id recommended taking your own snorkels as none of the ones they had, had the clip to attached the snorkel to the mask. Minor issues tho Otherwise very happy with our choice of accomadation and will definately be back to stay again

My wife and I came here for our Honeymoon and boy was this a rude awakening. The 'King Bed' was just two (extremely old) full mattresses pushed together. Certainly not a tempurpedic mattress as advertised. We had one tiny TV which featured one blurry channel, with no working Wifi. Certainly not the $10 per day fee for reliable wifi as advertised (thanks Hotels.com for completely misrepresenting this facility).

We had the beach front villa No. 8, which was huge & well appointed and private. Comfy bed & pillows, decent kitchen area. The sofa could have been more comfortable and a bit larger. Buffet breakfast was nice, happy hour was relaxing, front desk staff were helpful, & other staff were so gentle and kind. Wifi a bit hit & miss, but that’s ok. I liked that the resort is on a large block of land away from the street, so very quiet. Many other resorts are close to the road, especially around the Muri area.

We did not use the pool, we were nervous of mosquitoes, the spa was really nice we received 25% discount during our stay

Staff was great and super friendly. Daily breakfast was also great. We used the free self laundry during our stay and they had a drying rack in the room to dry your clothes 😀 We stayed in a villa with a private pool. The room was very big. AC was cold! There are quite a few reefs which we enjoyed snorkeling around. We walked to Edgewater and had a bite to eat and walked to the Rarotonga Brewery for a drink.

The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Staff were so helpful and friendly especially reception staff Frances, Inoke and Ryan and Jone in the restaurant. We loved staying at the Crown and would recommend it to others.

The hotel is terrible. The 2 bedroom oceanfront villa was old and needs renovation. The room door had an open gap an inch wide at the top, which exposed the room to the outside elements and critters. When reported to management, his response is nothing will get in. I had to request that management do something for me to feel comfortable staying and he stuffed the top of the door with bubble wrap. I did not stay for the reservation after this and seeing the condition of the room. The deep tissue massage I had was one of the worse ever. Do not recommend the spa. The restaurant and bar staff are the friendliest and the only decent thing about the property. Do not book here. Save yourself the trouble I experienced and book at another property.

Our room was spacious with living/dining kitchen separate bedroom and bathroom with the main pool steps away and the restaurant also steps away. Could do with a deep clean as getting a bit tired. Staff very friendly and helpful and Lewis the grounds man was very friendly and helpful on what to see and do. The spa massage was very relaxing. We spent Christmas and New Year at the Crown Hotel and had a lovely time. I do think new pool and beach loungers are required as very low and quite uncomfortable

We booked a courtyard pool room as this is what we had on our last stay 10 years ago. Absolutely nothing has changed in that time and the property is looking very tired and in desperate need of an upgrade considering the price being charged per night.

The rooms are outdated and they smelled like cleaning chemicals.

The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bar had many choices. We didn't do any laundry. The room was clean and spacious with all the requirements we needed. WiFi comes and goes but that didn't concern us.

The staff in all areas of the hotel were amazing. Front desk even helped us organise our daily activities on the island and shared slot of helpful local info about places to visit and places to eat. The restaurant was always amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Loved the experience.

Awesome as usual! Bar could be a bit quicker but staff, food, amenities and rooms are amazing! Its why we keep coming back.
