部屋や中庭、レセプションのデザインがモダン・アフリカンテイストな洒落たホテル。周囲のヴィラタイプの著名なリゾートとどちらにしようか最後まで迷いましたが、少しリーズナブルだったこちらにして大正解でした。ちょうどヌングイの岬近くに位置してるので、サンセット・サンライズ両方が素晴らしいです。特に、エレガントなデザインのプール越しに見る、オーシャンビューの部屋からのサンセットは、半年経っても眼に焼き付いています。ヌングイ地区で最高レベルの評価のダイニングsarucheがあるのも推しポイント。夜に頼んだクスクスサラダとセネガル風シーフードカレー、そして朝食、すべてがザンジバル滞在中のベストでした。ダイビングのアレンジを頼むと、近くのDivine Divingを案内されると思いますが、ここも丁寧で素晴らしいサービスです。金庫があかなくなるとかちょっとしたトラブルはありましたが、フロントの方がすぐに対応してくれます。予約時にもすぐにメールで連絡をくれ、何か質問があれば丁寧に対応していただけるので、初めてのアフリカ旅行でも安心感がありました。遠い場所ですが、一生のうちに必ずもう一度泊まりたいホテルです。

Clean room, good Wi-Fi really pretty

The reason I gave this hotel an overall 3 stars is because of the all the begging people on this hotels beach area and walking through the property. The reason you go to Zanzibar is rest and relaxation. The begging people made that nearly impossible for me. They are annoying as hell!!!! The coconut guy makes it his business to annoy you until you give him something to leave you alone. I would not stay here again and definitely choose a hotel with a true private beach area to relax.

Staff were amazing

Wonderful stay. Z2 hotel is lovely and we had access to everything in Z1. I travel a lot and this was my favorite resort stay I’ve ever had. The staff members are WONDERFUL and I felt so lucky to get to know them. Sam, Raheema, Nora, and Abdullah are just a few of the wonderful staff members that made me feel like I was at home.

Oberstes Apartement im Z2 Hotel. Teilweise Block auf das Meer. Super geräumig jnd wunderschön gestaltet.

Fint hotel med härliga rum och god frukost. Meny man kan välja från samt komplettera från buffé. Personalen på Z2 var supergulliga, dock var personalen i sky fish restaurangen o poolen vid Z hotell inte supertrevliga eller service minded. Tog lång tid att få mat och dryck. Rummet var fint o sköna sängar. Dock sprutade duschen åt alla håll så svårt att få ut schampot. De kom och bäddade upp sängen varje kväll vilket var trevligt. Åt middag på sexy fish en kväll vilket var väldigt gott. Även indiska marigold var super. Härlig roof topp för en drink.

Kjempe hyggelig hotell med mange muligheter. Det er 2 søster hoteller som ligger ved siden av hverandre. Z1 ligger ved stranden og har utsikt, mens Z2 ligger rett bak og er noe roligere

Room was excellent. We had the third floor pool view at the z2. We found the z2 to be a newer more modern building compared to the z. So even though it wasn’t direct water access, we liked staying the z2 better and using the z during the day. Amazing breakfast buffet. We loved our stay. Gym at the z was excellent also. Had lots of options. Finally location was great. Near by walking distance to all restaurants. We prefer this beach over kendwa as well if had to pick.

We really liked the area and all the staff & managers. Calm & safe vibe, the hotel just next to the beach. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Got a better room the next day, which was much appreciated! Very much recommended. Br.

We stayed at Z2. Beautiful room (penthouse suite!) Complimentary water everyday. Free WIFI which was very solid. The Marigold restaurant was excellent for Indian food and the breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. The pool was lovely and often had it on our own. The Z hotel is a short walk from Z2 but always has plenty of sunbeds and two further restaurants. Would absolutely stay there again.

Hotel was great and the beach was beautiful

Room was always clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially Aysher. Onsite restaurants, bar service and gym were all great. Front desk also arranged cabs to and from Stone Town and the airport (roughly 1-1/2 hour, $60 trip). A great spot for a beach/pool relaxing vacation. Hot water for showers was an issue, but perhaps common for the Zanzibar region?

The hotel was beautiful, food was amazing and staff were so attentive. Additionally, it was a perfect location and the beach was breathless.
