広大な敷地で気持ちよく過ごすことができました。プレイエリアやプールもあり、お子さん連れで楽しめると思います。スタッフの方とても親切で、滞在前の問い合わせからきめ細やかに対応してくださいました。

部屋の設備は古く、破損箇所もあります。隣の部屋と棟続きになっており、音に敏感な人には気になるかもしれません。しかし、高級リゾートを望むのでなければ、十分に快適に過ごせるレベルにはあります。窓は密閉性が高くないので蚊が入ってくるかもしれませんがそれほど多くいるわけではありません。ベッドに蚊帳は設置されていますし、電気式の蚊取り線香もついていますので、心配な人は、さらに蚊取り線香を持参しておけば十分だと思います。 サファリの拠点として滞在中もアフリカの自然を満喫するということが目的であれば、最高のロッジだと思います。近くの池には数十頭のカバがおり、早朝にはまだロッジの敷地内に留まっていることもあります。猿やマングースは日中ロッジの敷地内に多くみられますが、シマウマが現れることもあります。部屋のドアは上だけ開けておくことができますが、猿は飛び跳ねて部屋に入ってきました。カバが見える「ヒポバー」のすぐ近くにシマウマやバッファロー、インパラ、私が滞在したときにはなんとキリンも来ていました。 ゲームドライブは朝食前と夕食前が基本で、1回60ドル。チェックインのときに予約できます。滑走路との間の送迎サービスですが、予約時にコメントしたのですが連絡がなかったので電話で確認をとる必要がありました。電話では40ドルとのことだったのですが、往復で60ドルでした。片道40ドルで往復だと割引ということかもしれません。歩いてロッジまでいくことはできませんので、ネットでの予約でコメントしてもうまくいかない場合には電話する必要があります。英語が苦手な方でも宿泊者の指名、いつからいつまでの宿泊を予約したのか、どの航空会社でどこの空港を出発して何時何分にkeekorok airstripにつくのか、それだけ伝えられれば大丈夫です。マサイ村の訪問はゲームドライブのドライバーに言えば追加料金でアレンジしてくれます。

9月に宿泊。選んだ理由は公園内のホテルで最も安いことと、カバの池があること。結果、ロケーションは最高、スタッフはフレンドリー、清潔さ・料理はいまいち、で値段を考慮すると悪くなかったかな。ただし部屋代以外に入園料1日70ドルがかかるのは注意。 特に良かったのは、カバの池に歩いていけること。ヒマな昼間の時間帯に、色々な動物をじっくり観察できました。カバ以外にも、ゼブラ、バッファロー、イノシシ、キリン、クロコダイル、インパラ、サギなどがやってきます(ときにはライオンのハンティングシーンやゾウも見られるらしい)。 スタッフは概ね親切ですが、翌朝のサファリのドライバーの変更をリクエストした際、問題が解決する前に寝てしまったのはいかがなものかと。結局変更してくれたので文句はないですが。 部屋は日本人からすると、細部に行き届いておらずびっくりします。網戸には大量のハエ、机やアメニティーは砂っぽい、バスタブやベットには黒いゴミ(虫のフンかな？)、蚊帳の上部にも虫の死骸が…という感じ。一応「自然保護区のロッジだし」と我慢できるレベルではあります。料理は食べられるし種類もそれなりですが、期待はできません。

非常に快適に過ごさせていただきましたが、滞在中にいろいろな追加料金がかかり結構いい出費になった。ホテルのスタッフはとてもフレンドリーで良かった。

The staff was friendly and attentive watching that every detail was perfect!

We booked a two-night stay at Muthu Keekorok Lodge Masai Mara and, upon arrival, decided to cancel one of the rooms; however, the hotel was unwilling to assist with the cancellation process, resulting in us forfeiting the cost of the unused room. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the property was disappointing. The lodge appears significantly outdated, with rooms lacking basic amenities such as proper ventilation, windows, air-conditioning, or televisions—only a small fan was provided. The bathroom had a persistent and unpleasant odor, drainage issues were noticeable, and insects were present throughout the room. The walls appeared unclean and constructed of rough stone surfaces that did not seem properly maintained. Additionally, the buffet food included in the stay was served cold, lacked freshness, and was of poor quality. While meals were included in the rate, guests were required to pay separately for beverages, which felt inconsistent with expectations for the overall pricing. To further compound the experience, staff interactions were largely unfriendly and inattentive. Overall, this stay did not meet basic hospitality standards, and the experience fell well below expectations for a lodge in this location.

The property is very old styled. We had to beg them to pick us from the airstrip. They had our booking, knew we were coming , marketed their ballon safaris and ignored our messages to pick us. Eventually they pucked us. One managed claimed we had not paid our accommodation despite the fact that we had paid before arrival. Another staff said our accommodation was fully paid in advance. Sarova is much better. We visited Sarova they welcomed very well even though we were not staying there. They offered us free drinks. Sarova service is great. We will not stay in Muthu Kekoorok again.

We stayed 2 nights, the property was beautiful right in the middle of Masai Mara. The rooms were good except that they were a little too dark. Little more lighting would have been good. We had the presidential suite so we had the whole suite to ourselves which was nice. Food was good, lot of variety (vegetarian and indian food options). One downside was power getting cut both nights we were there for a little time.

We enjoyed our stay - lovely staff, lovely hotel.

Towels were bad. No hot water in the bathroom. Had to have a cold shower in the morning at checkout. Complained at the reception. No response. Staff and the barman were rude. Will not use this property again.

Loved the place, and especially the hippo bar

Moldy bed sheet, dirty light switches, broken bed net. Smelly bar area. When I reported the above issues, 3 groups of staff came and decided to offer me a bottle of free beer ( wine). I don’t drink beer ( wine). Then the manager knocked my room door twice to force me to accept it. I paid $NZ 1100 per room per night. This is the worst 5 star hotel I have ever experienced.

Muy agradable, zona swgura, charc de hipopotamos preciosa. La comida es un poco repetitiva, el desayuno podria mejorar.

The property is average, definitely not worth the amount of money charged. For that amount of money $300 plus a night, you should receive a 4 star plus accommodation. I had to ask for towels in the room. The food was buffet style but still average.

We had a delightful stay at Keekorock! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The grounds have to be seen to believe, and the location cannot be beat.

Staff was helpful, attentive and went beyond expectations. Great location for game drives. Very clean and food is good.

Premier hôtel qui a ouvert dans le parc . Il est très agréable. Une belle surprise . Nous avions réservé les chalets . Très confortable pour y dormir . Piscine très sympa et hippo pool pour boire un verre au couché du soleil. Buffet varié tous les jours et danse Masai le soir à 20h . Le soir les hippo se promène dans le jardin. Vous serez accompagné d’une personne de la sécurité pour retourner dans votre chambre après le dîner . Hôtel très calme et paisible . Idéal pour se reposer après les safaris Point important à savoir, l’hôtel étant dans le parc , il faut payer les droits d’entrée au parc : 70 dollars par personne et par nuit .

The general environment

This is a fantastic property. We stayed in the presidential suite because we could have our entire family under one roof. The staff was amazing. You can hear hippos at the River. The only thing to be desired was the food. Most dishes are Indian and just okay. After a few days we were really craving something else. Also be mindful that coffee and tea are included with meals, but only if you get it yourself.
