Staff excellent service, always ready for whatever you need. What I didn’t like is short on staffing

The staff was very accommodating. Free breakfast is very good. Location in historic district was good.

People there were so friendly food was good. Place was clean .and walking distance to historic center was good

Unusually they did not have a record of my reservation online so they wanted me to pay again which was difficult to figure out as no one there spoke English. He did make a call and settled things and overall the staff tried to be very helpful. They had a small garage for my car and the location was convenient for walking. The wifi did not work but they moved me to another room in the evening where it worked well. Breakfast was pretty good. The property is beat down but functional. The only real issue and I don’t think I would stay there again is due to the noise. There is no blocking the noise from cars and trucks going by at all hours and I stayed on Saturday where loud dance music was playing from somewhere nearby until dawn. It does not work well for having to catch an early flight the next morning.

Las instalaciones son básicas pero tienen lo necesario para estar cómodo. El personal es sumamente atento, está siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Mi colchón era muy duro, en cuanto comenté esto a la mañana siguiente, me lo cambiaron. Tiene buen acceso desde la calle pero adentro no hay ascensor para subir a las habitaciones, en cambio tiene una escalera de madera bonita y cómoda. La ubicación es fantástica, en pleno centro histórico. El desayuno podría ser mejor, lo mismo que el wi-fi pero la relación precio/calidad es muy buena.

I 100% recommend this hotel. 1st of all - it's a hotel with the price of a hostel. So you're already getting a great deal. But what you get! You get a great breakfast made and served to you, you get a great, safe location in the historic center, literally a 5 minute walk in any direction to some amazing things. The wi-fi worked perfectly, I always had hot water when I took a shower and the staff was perfect. Seriously, the nicest people who did whatever they could to make sure my stay was great. Yes, you're getting an older building that's not modern (there's no elevator) - but the charm that comes with it more than makes up for it. I had an amazing stay here!

Excellent hotel located in historic center of Quito, in walking distance of many interesting plazas and buildings. Nice and clean room.

The hotel is in a great location, very walkable. The street outside was quite noisy at night. The beds and pillows were very hard. Breakfast was good.

Had problems checking in, room was not ready even though we arrived in the evening. Watched the concierge take a blanket from the lobby to put on one of our beds. No towels were available, 3 of us had to share a bath mat to dry off from shower.

Possibly the oldest furniture in the historic part of the city. This place could be cool if someone were to invest in a few updates. It's a cheap place in a pretty convent location. The area is desolate at night but in no way spooky.
