The new towel was kinda dirty

This is 4th stay for me. The former 3 stays were very nice, so I came back to this hotel. At reception, he was kindly to prepare the upgraded room. The room was with 3 bed rooms, larger, so the price must higher than that I reserved. However, I was just only one, so no meaning. And room condition was worse compared with the room I stayed 3 weeks ago. More dirty, older, and need more times to get hot water. So, by all means completely lower quality. This must be downgrade. (Might be according to wrong booking management) Even this upgrade was not dissatisfied, I will believe it might be only this time.

Last year, I chose this hotel, and decided to change my regular hotel in DAR to this! The condition was so good, and I enjoyed the city view through the big wind! Hotel staffs had enough hospitality, and especially house keeper always responded to my request. This year, I stayed this hotel for 2 days in August, and (after 2 weeks in Arusha), will come back to this hotel again in September! Only small things I would require are as follows; 1. a bit hard to find as it locates not along the main street. 2. elevator is always busy. 3. the wind is a bit dirty (I understand it is hard to clean, but it might catch customer's eye as the wind is so big.)

Easy access for business zone. but one surprise is no alcohol drink service in the hotel, even in restaurant.

The reception staffs were all organized and kind. The room view was great with partial sea view. The room was not cleaned enough. At breakfast, a staff was too friendly, trying to speak in Kiswahili throughout with an obvious foreigner like me even when I was asking a question (not joking or fun chatting). All in all, this hotel is not up to the general Golden Tulip Hotel standard but some aspects were good enough.

２０１５年１０月にオープンした新しいホテルで、市内中心部のアスカリモニュメントや市内バスのターミナルとなるポスタのすぐ近くにあって立地は抜群です。５泊しましたがスッタフもとてもフレンドリーで気持ち良く過ごせました。ビルの高層階にあるので眺めも抜群、部屋も清潔でその点も大満足です。ただ、フロントがビルの２０階にあって、客室フロア（私は１７階）へは下層階のオフィスやアパートと共通のエレベーターで誰でも行けてしまうのは、治安面で不安でした。それと、レストランがアルコールを出さないのも私に取っては大きな減点。部屋に持ち込んで飲めばいいと言われましたが、部屋に冷蔵庫がなくビールを冷やしておけません。値段も手ごろですごくいいホテルなので、治安面とノンアルコールを何とかしてくれると満点なのですが、残念です。

Thank you Miriam for your help with this booking. The room was great, with beautiful city view as requested. The lobby is a bit small and too busy, does not give relaxing vibes after a long day. Breakfast restaurant is wonderful, with nice views and breeze in the afternoon. The food was great too. All staff we met were warm and welcoming. FO, HK and Service. The male receptionist on Sunday morning shift when we checked out was very kind to us. Overall great stay, my only issue is space. Consider decluttering the public areas for great relaxation when one enters the hotel lobby from a long day.

The positioning of the property was excellent for us as it was in the area we preferred. All the staff from the driver who picked us up from the airport to the one who returned us there were polite, friendly,caring and very helpful. I would happily return there.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was very clean, and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise — the food was delicious and the service excellent. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very good hotel, liked the only thing I was filling uncomfortable at the end when I was doing the check out, the have a list saying that I had consumed lot off things from minibar and snack, when I haven’t touch anything. I had arrived at 2 am literally and left around 8 am the hotel…. To explore Dar Es Salam them I had a flight around 1:30 pm. So the little time I had spend I haven’t touch even the free water. And they was trying to collect money that I haven’t use. But a the end they understood.

Everyone was exceptional to me during my stay at the Golden Tulip. I was attending a conference and unfortunately came down with a bad case of food poisoning from a restaurant near the conference. The Manager and specifially Damien took very good care of me ensuring I had green tea, toast, and soup to help me in my recovery. They even helped me get some medication from a local pharmacy!!

Terrific staff, friendly service. Room was clean, provided everything I needed for overnight stay. Downtown is under so much construction (not the hotel’s fault); the area is congested and dirty. The restaurant FIRE on the 20th floor was pleasant, with good food at a reasonable price and a great view!

The service was excellent and the hotel is well situated but the building is very tired and room was in need of refurbishment. The fact the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol should be clearly indicated before booking.

Amazing check in experience! Staff was very responsive. Clean hotel, very spacious. My only issue was that I wasn’t a fan of the hard mattress. Also, there wasn’t any hot water per se. Other than that it’s locate close to the port and walkable area. The restaurant was great also.

The hotel had a lovely restaurant on the 21st floor and all staff were wonderful. Also walking distance to the National Museum.
