Muy bonito hotel, personal amable, la comida es un punto a mejorar, el precio que cobran no vale lo que sirven, faltan mucho señalamiento en los senderos, lo que hace fácil perderse, el jacuzzi no está disponible para todos los huéspedes solo si se usa el spa, ojalá mejoren esos puntos y sería una experiencia altamente recomendable!

Rente una habitación para tres y nos dieron dos camas full muy incómodas , ya todo tiene olor a viejo necesitan una renovación urgentemente.!! El desayuno muy bueno.

Friendly staff, excellent food, great experience hiking through the trails and river, and great relaxing massages

I have been to the Lodge at Pico Bonito several times over the past 9 years. There have been many improvements in recent years. They have maintained the beautiful Honduran mahogany cabins in their original design and function. The rooms are certainly large enough. The bathroom is rather small, but adequate. Because every room is in a thick, mountain rainforest, they are rather dark. Not all the lamps worked. Ceiling fans and A/C were good. Some would call the rooms rustic. Even a rainy hour gives you a chance to listen to the jungle while lying in a hammock listening to the bird and watching the agoutis. The grounds were meticulously manicured, with beautiful plants and tropical blooms at every turn. Cacao trees filled the forest as well as tropical birds and animals. Guided hikes, spa, exhibits of butterflies and local reptiles and snakes. This is not an inexpensive facility, but I felt it was worth the price for a relaxing and interesting place to visit. Almost every employee I met was bilingual in Spanish and English. Good WiFi, no TV in rooms. The food was good with sufficient choices for dinner. Service is excellent. Well-stocked bar and cellar. On our recent trip there during a national holiday, it was a full house, but we never felt crowded. We rarely saw other guests except at the pool or in the spacious restaurant.

Good place to rest.

My wife and I are birders and the lodge offered some great opportunities photographing them. There were many hummingbird feeders with plenty of birds around at all times. There are several good trails we walked early in the morning and were pleased to see many toucans. The cabin was clean and the AC cooled it in short time. The food at the restaurant was excellent and varied, and the service was even better. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the quiet of nature and the convenience of the modern world (Wi-Fi worked great in the cabin).

Is a beautiful place and grounds,nice hikes to waterfalls some services prices should be posted so not a surprise when checking out, lodging a little dated,but nice, beautiful grounds

Nice place, quiet and calm, and the property it’s in great conditions

Great place to stay for a weekend with your loved ones. This place is amazing; it has everything you need to disconnect from the world and have a peaceful moment (well, not total disconnection because there is wifi in the rooms). Everyone is so kind and gentle, and the food is just incredible, the spa is unmatched and the pool is outstanding. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel in the area.
