Windhoekから車で８時間ほど（未舗装路を走行するので、単純に距離からは時間が割り出せない）かかる。 途中結構状態の悪い道も走るためパンクには注意してください。また幹線道路に看板が一つあるだけなので、相当わかりにくいです。看板のある入り口を入ってから、さらに１０分ほど悪路を走らなければ、建物を見ることがないので、少々不安になる。ただ、一度到着してしまえば快適な空間が待っています。朝焼け、夕焼け、とても綺麗です。 大自然の中にいるという実感ができます。ホテルスタッフも気持ちよく、食事も（砂漠地帯で野菜は美味しくないのは仕方ない）肉料理は美味しかった。昼と夜の温度の差が激しいが、昼の暑さであれば、プールも利用できる。 部屋の入り口にはテーブルと椅子が用意されていて、景色を楽しむことができる。

辿り着くのに、未舗装路を走るので本当に在るのか不安になりますが、大自然の中にある快適な宿泊施設でした。土地柄野菜やフルーツはあまり美味しくないですが、しょうがないですね。

The pool and gardens were immaculate and my family room was very clean and comfortable. On arrival the key would not open the door lock. It took 40 slow minutes to have it repaired and then he asked for a tip !! I wish there was a power point near the bed so I could have my phone charging while in use. The pool towels all need replacing and the sun lounges were covered in bird poop. The Sunset tour was fantastic. I felt that we were not given enough time on the full day Soussvlei tour to climb Big Daddy and then walk amongst the trees in Deadvlei. Just walking around the trees was rushed because they were in a hurry to leave for their picnic area. The tour guides were excellent.

This is a good place to stay for touring Sossusblai and the Namib Desert. The facilities are good, the food is good, and the staff are friendly.

Alles passte. Sunrise walk 5 km sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr freundlich, sehr sauber.

Sensacional! O lugar e o atendimento! Muito bem situado. Desde a portaria, tem seus nomes na portaria já listados. O recepcionista, Paulus, o staff que nos atendeu sempre bem no buffet. Alegres, prestativos, solícitos. Com certeza eu recomendo muito o local!

Kaikin puolin mahtava paikka! Maisemat huikeat! Keihäsantilooppeja ja pahkasika oli joka päiväunien vieras. Lähipolut kannattaa käydä kävelemässä. Ravintolassa tarjoiltava ruoka tulisi suojata linnuilta. Joka ruokailussa pikkulinnut söi useista astioista. Liekö tästä aiheutunut kevyttä vatsa ongelmaa? Uima-allas vesi voisi olla pari astetta lämpimämpää…

Namib Desert Lodge was such a lovely place to stay. The rooms and lodge were comfortable and well-kept; the food in the restaurant was great; the service was wonderful. They offered great excursions for guests who were interested in this.

My GoPro was lost there and they found it and then delivered it to Etosha Safari Lodge, another hotel of the same company, where we stayed a few days later. This tells a lot positively about this company. On this trip we only used Gondwana hotels and services. The company didn’t disappoint us. I highly recommend Gondwana.
