ルモーンの岩山をバックに、静かな海を望めるホテル。 モーリシャスは全体的に中国人団体客が多いという前評判で 宿泊前に若干不安はありましたが、まったくの杞憂でした。 5日間のうち、アジア系カップルを1組見かけただけで、他は フランス語を使うヨーロッパ系が多かった印象。 とはいえブッフェメニューに中文並記もあるくらいなので、 たまたま滞在した時期がラッキーだったのかも。 我々は乳児連れだったので、特にアクティビティーは参加せず でしたが、木陰やプールサイドでゆったりするだけでも 十分リゾートを満喫できました。 ビーチサイドですが、椰子の木々はじめ手入れの行き届いた 庭には緑も多く、数カ所のプールもどれもお洒落です。 スタッフは息子の名前を覚えてくれ、食事中もひっきりなしに かまいに来てくれました。やはりアジア系赤ん坊は人気高いみたいです。 クリスマス時期のせいか、白人系の家族連れが結構いました。 他のLux系は不明ですが、ここはオススメできるホテルと思います。

EASTというレストランがあるが、中華その他アジア風の味付けが日本人好みでとても美味しいが部屋は凡庸、ル・モーンの岩山が直近で見えて圧巻。

We stayed in "Ocean Junior Suite room" and this was awesome - beach is in 10 steps distance from the pateo with relaxing deck chair, and had nice view of sunset from the room. We ordered room service twice but unfortunately the food was not delivered within 25 mins once as indicated by the kitchen. (altough the weather was not nice and could imagine how busy the kitchen was) Also the waiter at the restaurant was not as attentive as we wished to be, and had to wait few minutes to look for a waiter to order drinks. However overall experience was very much satisfactory and would be happy to be come back here.

Great staff, food options & room.

Absolute paradise of a location!! The views are spectacular and there is wildlife everywhere you look. The sea is crystal clear and amazing for snorkelling in the shallow reefs with so much wildlife and different ecosystems. The room was perfect for us , we stayed in a sunset junior suite with a beautiful balcony, sea views and a massive bath! The cleaning staff were great, we never had any issues with hygiene. The food was very decent and a lot of options for different eaters, the seafood is a standout. The only real negative is the lack of entertainment. We were there early February and it seemed to us on most weekdays there was no entertainment, and the ones we did have of a weekend was of a lower standard than were used to. Having stayed at Lux Belle Mare a year ago, we were surprised with the difference in entertainment. If you want quality live music of an evening choose Lux Belle Mare as there is more of an active evening scene, but if you’re looking for a very calming and slower paced holiday choose here! We would still give this hotel 5 stars, and we got engaged here in the treehouse which I would pick for any romantic celebration. The celebrations centre performed outstandingly, as all staff here do, and couldn’t have asked for a better way to propose to my now fiancé.

Lux le Morne est un très beau et chic complexe de 149 chambres niché dans un beau parc tropical , au pied du Morne et ourlé par une magnifique plage de sable blanc. Rien à dire de l'accueil toujours poli et prévenant , de la qualité des chambres à la déco moderne chic et des services , de la qualité de l'eau des piscines et de la mer. Le petit déjeuner est excellent , mais un bémol pour les buffets du soir au Kitchen qui sont de qualité variable quoiqu'on trouve toujours de quoi se satisfaire vu la variété des mets. On peut diner dans un des 3 autres restaurants ( un méditerranéen et un japonais notamment ) avec une réduction de 30% si on est en demi pension, mais nous n'avons pas testé car comme dans d'autres hôtels de l'Ile , il aurait été plus incitatif d'y proposer un menu compris dans la demi pension. Nous avons en revanche bien profité du spa qui délivre des soins de qualité. Globalement , une bonne adresse dans le sud ouest de Maurice qui ne manque pas d'offre de qualité.

Excellent hotel in a stunning location We had a wonderful stay at Lux Le Morne Mauritius. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean, and set on a truly beautiful beach with breathtaking views. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with wild dolphins — absolutely well worth doing and an unforgettable experience. I would definitely recommend spending the extra for an ocean view room; waking up to that view really added something special to our stay. The restaurant was very good overall, although a few more themed evenings would be welcome, especially for guests staying for two weeks or longer. The staff were amazing, particularly in the restaurant. They shared great tips about the island, made us laugh, and even brought us bowls of fresh lychees at breakfast — such a lovely touch. A special thank you to Cindy and Viswanee for making our stay even more memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel.

A honeymoon to remember, for all the wrong reasons! We booked a sunset suite which was unfortunately very dirty on arrival with a view of the back of a restaurant, no sunset! Hotel was full so ended up being downgraded to a basic room! Overall we found the service very poor in some areas of the hotel, particularly breakfast. Towels are on sun beds at 8am which doesn’t set a nice tone! Have to book restaurants in advance too. Spa was very tired and not reflective of 5* hotel but spa treatments were enjoyable. Hotel ruined our laundry! Which was the cherry on top of our stay. Not sure where this hotel has so many excellent reviews. Unfortunately this was a very disappointing honeymoon, that did not live up to our expectations.

Rundum perfekter Service, sehr freundlich, professionell und aufmerksam. Riesen Lob an alle, von Barmann, über Housekeeping, Service in den diversen Restaurants, Rezeption, … Die Essensauswahl war besonders gut und neben dem Hauptrestaurant gibt es zahlreiche schöne weitere kulinarische Hochgenüsse. Perfekt als Paar oder kleine Familie. Der Strand ist einer der schönsten Strände überhaupt. Wir durften als „Honeymooner“ in den Genuss von vielen Extras kommen, was den Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht hat. Rundum ein wunderschönes Resort und eine tolle Anlage mit mehreren Pools

Inacreditável ser classificado como um hotel 5 estrelas! Quartos ruins, atendimento nas áreas comuns do hotel muito ruins também… Seria Ok pra um hotel 4 estrelas! Não é compatível com o preço da diária!

Wunderbare Anlage, aus unserer Sicht sogar noch angenehmer als das « Paradis » (wo wir auch schon waren) und Dinarobin, da kleiner und architektonisch absolut perfekt in die Umgebung eingepasst. Die Suiten sind klasse, insbesondere die sehr geschmackvollen Ocean-Suiten mit freiliegendem Dachstuhl und sehr nahem Strandzugang (über eine angenehme Rasenfläche). Aber auch die anderen Suiten sind mehr als in Ordnung. Super bequeme, stilvolle und beschattete Liegestühle im Palmenbewachsenen Sandstrand. Der im Grunde wahrscheinlich schönste Strandabschnitt am « außergewöhnlichen Le Morne Beach, da es hier keine Felsablagerungen wie z.B. vor dem Dinarobin gibt. Wer gerne schnorchelt, findet hier ohne große Ausflüge jede Menge Tropenfische in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Essen ist hochwertig und vielfältig. Gerne wieder, war alles klasse.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Die Lage ist traumhaft, direkt am Fusse des Le Morne Brabant, mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war qualitativ hochwertig, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind auch der schöne Strand und die bequemen Liegen, die zum Entspannen eingeladen haben.

Beautiful hotel big comfortable room. Four stars for service as there wasn’t really any pool service.
