The air conditioning was excellent in room 22. Bathtub shower didn’t work and was not fixed while we were there. We did have a walk in rain shower however we would have preferred the handheld tub shower! Room was spacious and bed was firm but comfy! Meals were good, buffets were somewhat predictable and got a bit boring as the week went on I did discover that you could order a few things from the kitchen like eggs cooked your way or French fries at lunch etc. The menu meals were very good with a variety of options. The dining staff were lovely and the other guest were friendly and the atmosphere was very intimate ( you quickly got to know everyone). I only have one area that I was somewhat disappointed with and that was our service at the bar we were often overlooked while others were served before us and often we had to go looking for the bartender. Overall our experience was very good and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing time away!

This hotel was an excellent choice for me. The staff and other guests were extremely welcoming and friendly, making me feel like part of a family. I highly recommend staying here. From the bartender to the room service staff members were a pleasure to be around

Elsie was so nice to us and very helpful. The room was adequate for our short stay but the air conditioner cycled a gurgling noise every 20mins so we didn’t sleep much as we had to use it .. overall great place with all inclusive.. meals where nice and the bar drinks where great. We would stay again but not with a noisy a/c unit lol

Sehr hübsches altes Gebäude, das sehr überlegt und gelungen zu einem Hotel umgestaltet wurde. Im vorderen Teil scheinen die Räume alle noch aus den urprünglichen Kalksteinmauern (tolles Wohnklima) zu bestehen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und mit einem Garten sehr hübsch gestaltet. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und all inclusive war auch wirklich all inclusive. Barbados ist eine für deutsche Verhältnisse sehr teure Insel, aber hier hat Preis-Leistung wirklich gestimmt. Das Personal war größtenteils freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Bei ein paar Menschen, die dort arbeiten, habe ich mich aber nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Ich werde zwar sicher nicht mehr nach Barbados kommen, weil es mir dort nicht so gut gefallen hat, aber das Hotel gehört zu den besseren Erfahrunegn dort. Alles in allem also ein Haus, das man guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen kann.

The food was good. A couple of times a week they have buffet style dining. Otherwise it's a la carte. They're strict on dining dress code. Some staff were more friendly than others. Location is only a three minute walk to the beach.

We found the staff to be lovely. The food served for meals was varied, well presented and good quality. The hotel is a 2 minutes walk from the lovely beach.

Fantastic. The staff make this hotel. Everyone is so happy and helpful. It’s well positioned with Bridgetown 20 mins walk one way, Hastings 20 minutes the other and the beach about 100 yards away.

Very unique property with lots to offer. Would never have considered an all-inclusive in Barbados, but this was good! Food had local flair and lots of flavour. Staff were good and we felt comfortable, all except the fact that people could smoke in the courtyard. Would stay again.

A charming find! Lovely gardens and pool for lounging. All meals and drinks included. Food, pina coladas, and wine ate good. Near Pebbles Beach.

The homeliness, warmth of persons, overall staff and the welcoming reception when you walk into the hotel. I would recommend Island Inn Hotel to anyone. I had a wonderful week.
