Very noisy from main road traffic. Shower nosel had a rather large leak. No large mirror to check your appearance. Was something banging on roof when it got windy in middle of night. Staff member who welcomed us was extremely friendly and very helpful, lovely man. Dispite a few annoyances we would go back for the convenience of area and friendly staff.

Expensive for what it was

We enjoyed our stay, we had a unit with two double beds, the beds were really comfortable. The unit had everything we needed. The Host was really lovely, Scorched Almonds for Valentines day :) There is a bit of traffic noise but nothing horrendous. If we need accommodation again close to Kaiapoi, this will be our choice.

Running out of water was a bit of on inconvenience, facilities were okay but a bit cramped.

Booked to stay a night then call to say we be checking in late only to be told there over booked can Accommodate us and then month later still haven’t been refunded.

Beds were very uncomfortable,need new beds as we could feel the springs

A bit noisy being on the main road but room clean and comfortable. Room not serviced during our stay, maybe due to Easter holiday? Manager very welcoming and nice restaurant/bar. 😊

Absolutely loved the old boy who is the owner he was so funny the rooms are clean tidy and comfortable the bar and restaurant very pleasant and the food exceptional

Nice and helpful manager, was a bit expensive per night,

This was little more than a glorified Army hut. Basic facilities. Very much over priced. A part refund would be appropriate. Then there was the lack of sound insulation which culminated in a noisy group in the adjoining unit waking many up in the early hours with their inconsiderate banging and loud talking. Most disappointing.

Basic Unit with adequate facilities

The cabin is new and well appointed. Its quiet with easy parking. Short drive to the shops. Friendly reception.

Located a short drive, 25 km, along road 1 north of Christchurch and the airport CHC. My unit was missing a normal height table and the fridge was too small.
