This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a great experience in Kyoto.

We had a wonderful stay here. It’s was great for a group and for the kids. It was a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood.

We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). We've been touring Asia, and this was one of the nicest places we've visited during our travels, especially while travelling with kids. Everything seemed to work.
