決して新しい施設ではありませんが清潔にされており、良いお宿でした。

As a foreigner with very little understanding of Japanese, I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff were in communicating with us. The counter staff used voice to text translators to translate their Japanese to English. As we arrived directly from the airport, we were too early to check-in, but Tamura-san was very helpful in telling us about their day bath and buffet lunch package for us to spend the time. The onsen was very clean, and the accommodations were comfortable. Higu-san was exceptionally helpful on our last day, as she went the extra mile to help us call a cab to the Kimitsu highway bus station when our taxi apps failed to get us a booking. She helped us load the luggage on the cab, and even sent us off with a snack! For tourists like me who cannot speak Japanese, their support and kindness was immensely invaluable. Thank you Ooeda Onsen Mongatari (Kimitsu no mori) staff!

The buffet food was delicious, and offered locally-grown rice as part of the meals. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional, taking the effort to translate and going the extra mile to support my family during our stay. The amenities were very clean and well-cared for. It was enjoyable to walk around the property and enjoy the cool weather in early summer.
