一人でシングルに泊まりました。2階の部屋は角部屋で、小さなバルコニーからは森と山が見えます。天気であれば夕焼けがとてもきれい。雨季だったので、最初の日はきれいでしたが翌日からは霧がかかった別の風景でした（これも悪くはありません）。シャワーのお湯も十分に熱いですし量もあります。ベッドは程よい幅で普通。でも、2台あるので荷物を置いたり整理したりするのに便利でした。 朝食は１階のテラスで摂ります。正面は西向きですが、横から朝陽が少し差し込み眩しい感じです。ホンジュラスの定番料理（フリホーレス、スクランブルエッグ、チーズ、トルティーヤ）をベースにして、ちょっとしたアレンジが加えられていて美味しい。これにジュースかコーヒーが付きます。飲料水は1階に大きな水サーバーが置いてあるので、いつでも飲むことができますし、ペットボトルに汲むこともできました。ホテルオーナーの女性は沖縄に行ったことがあり、日本に対して親近感を持ってくれています。玄関ではシーサーが出迎えてくれました。

Our stay here was phenomenal! Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was spotless with great AC, hot water, a TV for Netflix/YouTube, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the town. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to Parque Central, restaurants, cafés, and shops. Copán Ruins and Macaw Mountain are about a 20–25 minute walk or a US$2 tuk-tuk ride away. The owner was incredibly kind and always available. After our visit to Luna Jaguar Hot Springs, she even brought us extra towels since ours were dirty from the mud. Housekeeping cleaned our room after the first night, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. One day we enjoyed eggs, sausage, beans, plantains, tortillas, fresh orange juice, and coffee. The next morning we had homemade cheese pupusas. Nearby, I highly recommend The Artisan Boutique for handmade souvenirs, Parque Central for relaxing, Sol de Copán for excellent German food, Copán Ruins (hire a guide!), Luna Jaguar Hot Springs for the thermal pools and amazing US$25 massages, and Los Asados for fantastic steak nachos and steak kebabs (huge portions). Checkout is at noon, and the owner even offered to store our luggage until our transportation arrived. Exceptional hospitality, delicious breakfasts, a peaceful atmosphere, and an unbeatable location. We would absolutely stay here again!

Unique property in a colonial Honduran town. The only challenge is that the streets are cobblestone, steep, and narrow. Be ready for this. The hotel was great, traditio al delicious Honduran breakfast, very nice owner/staff, and very clean. Not a cookie cutter place to stay - highly recommended. Near the Macaw Park, and Copan Ruins.

The room was confortable and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the forest. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful to keep you going all day. The hotel sits high on a hill with parking and an easy walk down to the center of town. Copan Ruins are just a few minutes away, flag a Tuctuc to take you.

Wonderful staff! Pastora is a great cook and housekeeper always helpful and there to serve everyone with a smile! Gracias doña Blanca for a wonderful hospitality!

The area was great. The breakfast was amazing.

The property is one of kind. The building itself is beautiful and all the plants and greenery is so unique. The owner, Ms. Blanca, was so kind to us. Was available to us at all times.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel La Escalinata recently. Blanca the owner was very friendly and keeps up with current events. I enjoyed talking to her. We had an issue with the AC one night but it was quickly fixed. I will stay at this hotel next time I visit Copán Ruinas. Also the view from the room was nice.

Blanca, the owner is an excellent host. She prepared us delicious breakfast, and the room was very clean and you feel at home. She us very friendly and we had very nice conversations with her. We totally recommend this hotel and has a beautiful scenery like a postcard!

Friendlyness of hotel owner and staff , beds and rooms are tidy kept it was a good invironment full of peace and farm sensation with roosters singing in the afternoon and mornings . , and copan ruinas is a unique place to visit and lovely experience on hotsprings like not other i recommend this hotel to anybody

Great place to rest

What a nice little hotel this was! I stayed here with 5 family members recently on a visit to Copan Ruinas. The room was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The complimentary traditional breakfast was made fresh each morning and was delicious. Many thanks to the owner Blanca who was very accommodating and even waited up until 1:00 AM to check us in after bad traffic from Tegucigalpa turned our 8 hour drive into a 15 hour one. Offering a low room rate, great service and a great location make this a recommended stay for me.
