シングル料金がありリーズナブルで、町からも近く便利だった。従業員がフレンドリーで、ツアーのトラブル解決を色々と手伝ってくれたので助かった。観光から帰ってくると果物が置いてあり、心遣いがうれしかった。朝ごはんも美味しかった。シャワーがちょろちょろとしか出なかったのが残念。

Convenient location close to Fort Jesus and hotel organized a guide for us to the fort and Old Town. Great kitchen that even made us an early breakfast for us to cash our train. Neat hotel and we were exited to see room 104 where Obama stayed in 1987.

Check in - They seemed confused and a little bit annoyed that I was checking in. But it was pretty quick and easy The room - Was small and the a/c is just a fan, so it won really cool down the room. The water pressure was nice and steady, which was a big plus. Breakfast - again they seemed a bit annoyed that I was there but I got a Spanish omelet with toast which was pretty good. Location - the location was pretty good, close to old town and right next to Fort Jesus. I had only one day in Mombasa so I was very happy for the location!

Experience was terrible, rude staff, no hot water, a hard small uncomfortable bed, noisy air con, no slippers, no bathroom mat, seat in the room was without cushions, breakfast was pathetic! Room was dusty.

Very quiet staff friendly walking distance from the beach restaurant bit expensive but room very nice with balcony view ocean in the morning.

The hotel was definitely a classic as some signs stated around the entry. The water pressure was very low, the air conditioner was weak, the bed/pillow were hard. The staff was friendly. The area was quiet but a short walk to restaurants. I probably wouldn’t stay again unless the price was pretty low.

I was looking for a room that was conveniently located, clean, and comfortable, and that is what I found at the Lotus Hotel. Only a short walk from everywhere I wanted to be, it was easy to reach by taxi or tuk-tuk, yet tucked away on a quiet street and free of solicitation. The staff positively sparkles, and everyone I met was attentive, warm, and accommodating. Leave your key at the front desk when you go out for the day, and come home to a wrapped plate of fresh fruit, a bottle of spring water, and a spotless room. Need anything at all in particular? Ask, and everyone will do whatever they can to make it happen. Are you hungry, but too tired to go out and find a restaurant that day? The one they have downstairs is tasty and plenty satisfying for a good price. Breakfast is free, and includes a continental spread that changes daily alongside any one dish made-to-order. The Lotus is no fancy resort and spa, but I enjoyed my stay here as much as any other hotel I've ever been to.
