ゴールデンウィークで訪れました。とても快適でした。

とても快適なロッジ。スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、ホテルで様々なツアーなどを主催しているため、ファミリーでものんびり楽しめる。ツアーのガイドも親切。レストランでは様々な種類の分厚いお肉やゲームミートなどをその場で焼いてくれる。

　まず、部屋からの眺めが素晴らしかったです。昼は遠くまで見渡せ、時折、ダチョウやスプリングボックがやってきました。夜は、空いっぱいに無数の星が輝いていました。天の川まで見ることができました。 　さらに、私の中で一番の驚きはレストランでのこと。食事をしながらふと空を見上げると、そこでさえ数え切れないほどの星を見ることができました。食事をしながら、あれほどの星を見ることは今後ないだろうなと思いました。 　料理はおいしかったです。また、ダチョウやシマウマ、クドゥ、オリックスなどの肉を食べることができます。目の前で焼いてくれます。それもよかったです。 　ツアーセンターがロッジ内にあるので、そこで自分の気に入ったツアーに参加することもできました。私は、「ヘリコプターツアー」「Sun　Downツアー」それに、朝から昼過ぎまで砂漠に行く「砂漠ツアー」に参加しました（ツアー名はうろ覚えです）。レンタカーで行っていたので、自分でも砂漠に行ったり、セスリムキャニオンを見に行ったりもしました。実に素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。 　個人的な感想として、今回２泊だけだったので、もう少し長く滞在して、砂漠を探索したり、ロッジでのんびり過ごしても良かったなと思いました。私はここを大変気に入りました。

星空を眺めながらの夕食は良かったですが、wifiはレセプション近辺でしか使用できず、冷蔵庫すらお部屋にはありませんでした。

ナミブ砂漠げーとに近いという利便性はあったが開門が6時35分閉門が5時25hんということで日の出日没に間に合わない。したがってあまりt泊まった意味がなかった。食事がビュッフェで豊富でよかったが、部屋の照明が暗かったり、タオルが生渇きだったりしたのが残念だった。

Lovely lodge in the desert with air conditioning.

Loved this peaceful oasis, especially after hot and sandy days in the desert. Lovely dinner buffet, nice rooms and lovely sunset views.

Le gros avantage, établissement à l’entrée du parc. Les chambres sont jolies, mais ce lodge est énorme, un lodge usine avec de gros groupes, beaucoup de monde. Nourriture du soir moyenne, petit déjeuner de mauvaise qualité. Finalement, c’est cher payer la proximité du parc.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft nahe dem Parkeingang. Das Frühstück und Abendessen unter Sternenhimmel war sehr gut.

We had a very nice stay overall. Our chalet was spacious with an amazing desert & mountain view. We opted in for full board and food was great with plenty of choice. A bit weirdly, we had fish which was fresh and well prepared (couldn't say the same for all the places we stayed at in Namibia, even of others were by the ocean). Finally, the property's location is very good for visiting Sossusvlei - right at the park's great, not and hour drive away like many others.

Un posto magico, soprattutto se prendete le stanze ai bordi del complesso. Bellissima piscina, cena e colazioni perfette. Imperdibili le escursioni. Per la Big Daddy si consiglia 1lt di acqua e desert boots… le sneakers si rovina

I came to Namibia to photograph the country, especially Deadvlei. I traveled 1000 miles in a 4x4 truck and I travel spontaneously without a strict itinerary. I needed a hotel to stay near the entrance to Namibi Naukluft Park and Sossuvlei Lodge was perfect!! It is located a 3-minute drive from the park entrance. It was perfect. While staying at the lodge, I was able to find dark space back behind my room and get incredible photos of the stars and the Milky Way. The lodge is beautiful and luxurious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were top-notched and included such interesting and delicious foods. I didn't realized until I checked out that this lodge is considered one of the best in the world! I whole-heartedly recommend Sossuvlei Lodge!

Parfait

This was an excellent lodge with a wonderful adventure center that enabled us to enjoy our stay to the fullest extent. Also, the food was delicious!

Bungalow confortable avec petite terrasse. Lodge bien situé à l'entrée du parc de Sossusvlei. Petit-déjeuner pouvant être pris assez tôt pour pouvoir partir à l'aube dans les dunes. Les campeurs ou autres personnes ne bénéficiant pas de repas dans leur lodge peuvent venir prendre le repas du soir. Sous forme de buffet bien fourni avec braai pour la cuisson des différentes viandes. De ce fait ambiance moins intime vu la forte fréquentation. La journée, on peut parfois y apercevoir des springbok, autruches ....

En lodge för det priset, då förväntar man sig top notch! Söndriga poolhanddukar, ingen service vid poolen, medioker kvällsbuffe. Hade inte haft några åsikter om man checkat in på ett 3 stjärnor, men detta- nej! Välj annat hotell

Views of the desert

We stayed two nights at Sossuvlei Lodge - as it is a perfect jumping off point into the national park. This location worked well for their organised morning tour (which eas good) and a self-guided trip to Sesriem Canyon. The lodge is larger and more busy than many other in Namibia (because of the location) so be prepared for a lot of people and Western style busy dinner buffet. The lodge is unbounded to the desert which is nice for seeing Oryx come wandering nearby. Our room was large, but the bathroom oddly hot with a strange smell. Overall, the place was what we wanted so we we're pleased with our stay.

Overall: excellent property with perfect food choices. Needs to improve in unit: (a) toilet is smelly and (b) AC capacity is not enough.

Insbesondere die sehr gute Speiseauswahl beim Abendessen ist hier hervorzuheben. Super Lage direkt am Gate zum Sossusvlei.
