Misleading Description and Poor Service I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Gran Evenia in Panama City. The hotel advertised a pool, which turned out to be closed with no prior notice—a major letdown since it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. When I raised the issue, the staff told me they would assist me, but then simply left for lunch and never followed up, while I waited for them. Their attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, and despite several attempts to contact them again, I never received any response. This experience fell far short of what any guest should expect. I would not return and do not recommend this hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were pretty & comfy, parking was convenient, and breakfast was the cherry on top

We enjoyed 3 days at this lovely hotel. The breakfast was lovely . The resteraunt service is good the chef messed up one night but we enjoyed other places. The pool is relaxing. Staff are very helpful. We will stay again as we visit panama city regularly.

This place was “ok”. It is small. We accessed our room from the outside hall so it felt a little downmarket/motel-ish. The decor is retro so the hotel feels updated. It is cute inside and the food is good. It was tough to get an extra pillow. The pool was CLOSED at 7pm on Friday night so the kids never were able to play in the pool. It wasn’t awful but we will not stay here again.

Check in was good room is clean comfortable. Breakfast was good ! Dinner was sad ordered the most expensive angus steak Not good !! Was neither Angus steak or cooked medium rare. Toughest peace of meat ever . We come to panama city for fun after 5 months living here. Expected a good quality . Service is good. When we complained they said would pass it off to manager. I mean if you advertise Angus steak and dont have it in stock say so. Offered us a free desert but passed. Two more night stay here so will try different resteraunts in the area.

O hotel tem uma estrutura ótima e moderna. Mas o atendimento é péssimo. Ao iniciar pelo recepcionista nada simpático. Estive três dias no hotel e meu quarto não foi limpo nenhuma vez. Reclamei no primeiro dia que não tinham limpado. Depois reclamei novamente no segundo dia e nada. Chegou ao absurdo de pedir papel higiênico e não mandaram e minha esposa teve que ir na recepção pegar. O lixo tivemos que recolher e deixar no corredor e ficou um dia lá. O café da manhã vai até às 9h30 e eles recolhem as coisas nesse horário. No café falta tudo, a equipe não consegue repor as coisas. Tem que toda hora pedir algo, tipo: não tem mais suco, não tem mais leite, tá faltando talher....Todos os dias ocorreram isso. O que posso elogiar foi o carregador de malas que foi simpático conosco todo o tempo e o restaurante do Rooftop que fica no hotel. É nítida a falta de gerenciamento da equipe desse hotel.

Fue bien, solo que al llegar no me veían registrado, pero luego encontraron y solucionaron el detalle.

Friendly staff but sometimes problems in communicating in english. Good breakfast in beautiful restaurant area. Nice bar, gym and pool area.

This was my first time trying out Grand Evenia, and let me just say—I had such a great experience! The staff is top-tier and incredibly pleasant. Their breakfast bar is the perfect blend of European and Spanish flavors. Housekeeping always kept things fresh (if that’s what you prefer), and OMG—the rooftop bar is such a vibe! My only hiccup was not having a microwave in our room, so we couldn’t heat up leftovers. Outside of that, I’ll definitely be back!

La atención es rápida, el hotel es cómodo y tecnológico, es seguro, se siente nuevo y limpio, agradable, el desayuno es pequeño pero con productos de buena calidad y bastante variado y el ambiente del comedor es acogedor. La decoración del hotel es muy agradable. Lo unico que podría mejorar es que el televisor sea smart tv.

All was just great, the best breakfast ever! Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, big tv, modern decoration, great entertainment live music, very convenient location. The only observation is that floor room was not cleaned every day.

En general buen hotel, limpio y bonito con buena cama y almohadas.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, Buffet und sollte etwas fehlen kann es bestellt werden. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Not sure this place is 5 stars but was happy with my stay.
