Everything was perfect I enjoyed my stay

My stay overall was decent. Just a few issues. The hot water is never hot, always luke warm or cool. Bar prices are very high! Average cost of a beer is $300(gyd) most places however it’s almost $1200 here. Not trying to sound cheap but that’s insane. Hence I rarely saw people at the bar. Food was good and somewhat affordable for the atmosphere. Oh and the air conditioning in my room was somehow never cold during the night( like 1 am to 5 am) I was sweating, seems as if it just stopped cooling at the same time every night. Staff was friendly.

Helpful staff. Buffet breakfast needs more variety. Rooms need a good cleaning.

This property is located close to a busy highway and so you can hear the noise of the traffic. The food was tasty, but they served the same menu for an entire week. The bar staff did a great job with the drinks and it’s nice place to hang out. The pool is there for decoration only, no one can use it and it’s not in an area where you would want to anyway. The rooms can do with a thorough cleaning and there is a big sign that says water goes off between 2 PM and 3 PM. The staff are friendly. You can hire the taxis directly from the hotel, which is a plus.

Location

I did not like there was no one to assist with luggage to rooms. Room needs to be upgraded. There were times no hot water. Breakfast was great. Dinner was boring, something every night.

Clean and comfortable

Few of waiters are wonderful. Front desk clerks needs to improve and be more active .they never asked how was your stay all was asked are you checking out.

Room was clean, good breakfast. One of the staff Romel was very helpful.

Amazing place to stay in Guyana. Staff was elite, especially the taxi driver

Erg slecht ontbijt. Ontbijt op bestelling en lang wachten. Geen variatie. Niet vriendelijk personeel. Geen lift. Kamers ruiken muf. Te duur en slechte service.

Dagelijks erg eenzijdig ontbijt. Personeel niet vriendelijk.

Property was a bit dated, but ok for short stay.

Very noisy from the cars passing. Needs better soundproof or windows.

The room was in good condition and the staff were very good and friendly. Rommel was very helpful and we enjoyed his service on the drives that we had with him. Brian too was also helpful. We enjoyed our stay

I booked this hotel because it had a pool and a room with a balcony. However, as there was no leisure area next to the pool, but only a narrow "patio" with café style tables and chairs next to a highway with very heavy traffic, the pool was useless. Furthermore, as the rooms all faced a covered courtyard, where the restaurant was, the balconies were in an enclosed space 3 meters above the guests in the restaurant, so also useless. The enclosed courtyard faced the highway, and the roof enhanced the sound, so it was the most noisy room I have ever stayed in. In addition, Guyanans apparently like to load their cars with the largest stereos in existence and drive around with music blaring out the windows. To top of the noisy experience, the breakfast crew chose to turn on loud music in the kitchen at 6:57 on Sunday morning.

Did not receive complimentary breakfast despite booking with Expedia (a waiter mentioned this to us on our last day of our second stay (had to switch hotels for one night due to lack of space). Limited and struck pool hours (kicked a 18 month old out of the pool at exactly 6pm- she was quietly swimming with her mommy and they were not given a heads up that they strictly enforce the pool hours (pool closes at 6). Even an extra 10-15 minutes would have been nice as my granddaughter had heatstroke and would have benefitted by even an extra 15 minutes of cooling down.

Rooms outdated.The maids did a great job tidying the room and the beds were immaculate every day however the following are the main reasons I’m giving it 3 stars - we were told on our last day post check out (from Kevin) that because we booked with Expedia we were supposed to get breakfast daily- at no point during our stay were we told that by the front desk staff. (Not a cheap expenditure). When staying here request a room away from the main staircase (overlooking the dining area) as well as away from the road- both areas are Very noisy despite having a white noise machine provided in each room ( a saving grace) Pool hours should be longer than a strict 6 pm especially after long days exploring in the heat. My 18 month old granddaughter was not allowed to have a daily dip past 6 ( we were only at the hotel prior to 6 one day and on that day at Exactly 6pm (they got into the pool at 5:45) my daughter in law and granddaughter where told to get out of the pool! They were not even given an extra 15 min of splash time.

The room was in good condition and the staff was very nice . The only thing i couldn't deal with is de noise from the traffic. My room was close to de road.
