Everything was perfect, particularly the staff

Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful, the service is fantastic, the room was perfect and my stay was relaxing! This is the place to stay if you just want 100% downtime and quiet. I had planned a very ambitious and busy stay in Stone Town following my stay here, so I wanted this portion of my trip to be relaxed. I couldn't have chosen a better place for peace and quiet. The premises is really pretty and I walked around a lot, seeing Red Colobus and Blue Sykes Monkeys and petting the various cats. In the evening, the air smells incredible . There isn't much of an ocean beach area, but there is a long floating pier that is nice to walk out on and the pool is kept beautifully. This is a small boutique hotel and there were only 4 other people there when I stayed, which contributed to the quiet. I did not take advantage of the spa services while I was there and can't review it.

Superb! This has by far been the most luxurious and calm hotel stay my husband and I have ever experienced. If you are lucky enough to find an available room/villa here - book!! The area and gardens are so beautiful and well kept. The staff is amazing, so calm, personable, happy and polite. The food is amazing with a new theme every night. The rooms and villa (we got to see both) are stunning. The spa treatments are great. Each time we had a question, the whole staff, and when applicable even the manager, were so engaged in helping us. We thought that we during our stay in Zanzibar would want to visit different beaches, but we decided to stay in the hotel and the beach here every day since it was so perfect. Paradise! We did not want to check out.

Ett fantastiskt litet boutiquehotel med duktig och personlig personal. Vackra byggnader och vacker trädgård. Fint poolområde. Enda negativa är att det inte går att bada i havet pga all tång på stranden.

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war bis auf die Klimaanlage wunderbar. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön. Die Abendverpflegung hervorragend. Einzig der Strand ließt zu Wünschen übrig, da er voller Seegras war. Wir konnten ihn nicht nutzen.

Vi hade fantastiska dagar. Men! Det finns ingen strand och att bada i havet är inte ett alternativ. Så trots det exklusiva och härliga så saknade vi möjligheten till promenader och fysisk aktivitet. Inget gym. Ett gym hade gjort hela skillnaden. Två tre dagar hade varit perfekt. Tips är: börja semestern här, varva ner och mys, men åk sedan till ett annat hotell där ni kan röra er mer

Really nice small resort! Great food and service. Nice pool area and sunbeds. Friendly cats and a gang of monkeys was fun. One evening live local music. Very calm so for romance and relax, not party. Wine and drinks available.

Les extérieurs sont jolis et bien entretenus, jardins, allées..) Par contre, je n’ai pas du tout apprécié ma chambre, avec un revêtement au sol en synthétique ( imitation parquet) ainsi que dans la sdb ( imitation marbre ) mais chaud qd on marche..) La literie est de mauvaise qualité ( matelas mousse ordinaire) draps en coton mélangé, la climatisation est bruyante et peu efficace, il n’y en a pas ds la sdb. Ce n’est pas digne d’un 5 étoiles D’autant que j’ai pu comparer avec l’hôtel précédent où j’ai passé le début de mon séjour ( parquet, plafond cathédrale, Clim dans toutes les pièces, literie de qualité..) Le personnel est agréable ( Merci à Zena, Zaina, Amiri ..) Par contre, honte au manager Gertrude, qui vous promet de gérer, et vous rappeler et ne rappelle jamais.D’ailleurs , je n’ai pas vu 1 seul manager venir voir ses clients au cours de la journée ou de la soirée,..étonnant !!

Very friendly staff settled in a beautiful surrounding. Great pool, and everything is so clean. We felt really looked after. How ever, it said in various sites that there is a beach here, it is, maybe 25 sq meter in total, but with no acces to the sea, there is a very large ref.

Ottima soluzione per coppie. Hotel tranquillo e con molte attenzioni. Possono migliorare il ristorante che è di qualità ma con poca scelta di portate e diventa difficile cenare oltre i primi due giorni

Sehr ruhige Lage in einem tropischen Regenwald gelegen. Die individuelle Bedienung am Buffet war sehr gut und lecker. Wer weißen Strand möchte, da gibt es bessere Lagen

Freundliches Personal, schöne Anlage, gutes Essen.

The stay was amazing, great spot to chill out and really get a quiet holiday. The villas are so beautiful 😍 Couple of things that could have elevated the trip. The pool to be regularly cleaned would have been nice. Everyday it was full of bugs no matter what the time of day! Would also be great for there to be a better bar service from the sun loungers plus all day snack menu! Staff over all were absolutely excellent and super friendl.

Very good hotel

Super schönes und sauberes Hotel. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service top. So war ich zum Beispiel am ersten Tag krank und das Personal hat sich um mich gekümmert, als wären sie meine Mutter. Es war der ideale Ort für unsere Flitterwochen. Sehr ruhig und romantisch. Zudem kann man SUP, Kajak... um sonst hohlen und um sonst Billard spielen. Auch kann man an der Reception Touren buchen. Leider hatte es am Strand viel Seegras (saisonal bedingt). Aber man kann sich beim Hotel Strandschuhe holen und als wir ca. 50m ins Meer liefen, war der Strand super schön. Und der Manager spricht deutsch. Vielen Dank für alles!!!!
