価格が高いトンガのホテルの中で安価だったため選びました。価格相応だと思います。隙間のあるドアや窓、汚れのあるシーツやタオル、濡れているコップやケトル、掛け布団がないため朝方は寒さが気になりました。気になる方は1ランク上のホテルを選ぶべきです。 スタッフの方々はとても良い方で、

ヌクアロファの相場から考えるとかなり安い部類に入るホテルですが、部屋は清潔で特に問題はありませんでした。ただ、テレビは壊れていました。ドライヤーは部屋にもフロントにもありません。一応モーテルという分類で、宿泊棟とフロントの建物が別れていますが、特別離れているわけではありません。シャワーの出も悪くありません。むしろトンガであればかなり良い方です。朝食は無料でしたが、パンとちょっとしたフルーツに飲み物がある程度。あっても無くても変わらないレベル。wifiはフロントがある建物にルーターがある関係上、部屋でwifiが入れば運が良かったと思ってください。基本、部屋でのwifiは無理です。そして無料ですが、とても遅いです。立地は悪くありません。徒歩10分以内にヌクアロファの主要な場所には行けます。短期滞在、例えば空港への前後泊ならとても良いと思います。

We enjoyed our stay at Simon's Place, however there are a few areas that we feel the owners may want to address: 1. Carpets in the rooms – The carpets in the rooms appear quite worn and would benefit from either replacement or a thorough dry clean. We stayed in two rooms and also saw another room booked by friends, and the condition was similar across them. 2. Televisions in the rooms – Adding TVs in the rooms would improve the guest experience. 3. Breakfast options – It would be great to see more substantial breakfast options available, such as eggs or bacon, rather than the current limited selection. 4. Airport transfer communication – It would be helpful to clearly inform guests in advance if there are transfer charges for airport pick-ups. After several unanswered emails, this came as a surprise. Front desk customer service – Unfortunately, we experienced an interaction with desk staff that felt lacking in empathy, faka'apa'apa (respect), and tauhi vā (maintaining respectful relationships). When we were asked to pay $50 for a late check-out for my father on the final day—while we were attending family funeral arrangements—the situation was handled in a way that felt dismissive and was followed by laughter with other staff, which was disappointing. We share this feedback in the spirit of helping improve the experience for future guests. Sometimes playing the long game with customer relationships can lead to returning visitors to both your hotel and Cheers Hafekasi

Great location, Great price! Can’t beat that! Recommended others to stay and they also stayed and loved it! Would book again in the future!

Great place with great location near town. The host was very friendly I would definitely recommend. I just booked to stay here again!

Nice big spacious room very clean, very good shower

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning kept everything cool. It is only a 10minute walk to the centre where there are bars and restaurants. There was a fridge in the room but no tv. Shower room was fine. Breakfast is limited with a small amount of fruit cereal and toast. Staff are friendly and helpful and can arrange island tours. Hotel prices are high in Tonga compared to nearby Fiji and Samoa and of a lower standard. It is a decent enough hotel but like other accommodation in Tonga not very good value for money

Not a bad place, staffs are friendly, but the neighbours are very noisy and dogs .

Very friendly and courteous staff

It's what you expect for the price. Nothing wrong with it if you just need a bed between full day activities. Easy enough walk to water, restaurants, and main Street. Nothing special, but nothing outstandingly wrong. You need to request fresh towels etc. The rooms don't get serviced unless you ask. Has ceiling fan and air con though.

Safe, quiet and close proximity to most amenities

Fantastic staff, good breakfast, comfortable room and reasonably priced

The place was clean and had reasonable breakfast. The bed was too soft for us. Didn't sleep well. We were given a room right opposite the restaurant which was annoying. It was very noisy there. Always in the evening sometime sat tight outside the restaurant (which was right outside of our room) and watching some videos online. As there are no windows you can close, we could hear it all right into our room. The same in the morning - they started to playing jazz at the reception area from before 7am really loud which woke us up. This music would not stop for hours. For the price you pay, we can't really complain about the lack of facilities. But location of our room was unlucky. Perhaps we would have better stay in one of the rooms at the back.

The lovely staff make the stay excellent. Always smiling and helpful. The room was clean but tired. We would be happy to revisit.
