北側の門から入って2分位な所にある。静かな通りに面しており朝は特に静かである。夜は向かいにあるレストランの音量が大きくても二重窓のため気にならない。レストランは屋外と屋内にあり、屋外レストランは建物の間にある行き止まりの細道を活用しているので、ゆっくり楽しめ美味しい。部屋が大変良くゆっくりくつろげる。城壁北側にある堀の様な川を挟んで向かいにある広い公共駐車場はホテルが提携しているので、チェックイン時にホテルへ伝えれば無料となる。

Loved my stay here … the staff were invariably helpful and courteous… it was a joy staying here.. loved the quirky room and the location of the hotel .. bang in the old town … kudos to the staff the property manager

This is properly a boutique hotel. It feels special the moment you walk in. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and very well designed. The building is cosy and location great. (Bar across the road a bit noisy, if you're a light sleeper ask for a room at the back). Roof bar beautiful. Staff SO friendly. The only thing I would change is to make breakfast a generous buffet situation rather than an order and eat situation. On the whole, very pleased, would go back. Probably will.

Staff is friendly and helpful! The unfortunate part of the stay is the hotel is surrounded by 3 bars so it was loud late into the night, not a good sleep.The AC didn't really work so we had a warm room. Hotel could improve by fixing missing baseboards and broken light fixtures in the hallway, Broken and missing toilet flush mechanism in the downstairs restroom. Not sure why we had a second refrigerator in the room that didn't work? Breakfast was good and plenty. Hotel needs maintenance!

The staff were excellent at providing help and welcoming approach. I was upgraded to a larger room upon arrival and it could not have been better.

Excellent service from the staff - attended to all our requests Good breakfast Location- centrally located, however at night there is a lot of sound from the near by pub. But we were not particularly disturbed by that . Very neat and clean

Located in the heart of the old town Kotor, Hotel Hippocampus is an excellent boutique hotel. Just 3 min walking from both sea gate and river gate, hotel Hippocampus is manned by excellent friendly staffs. Our superior room was very clean, beautiful stylish luxurious interior, very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. The breakfast served was freshly made and tasteful. Highly recommended for a perfect stay in Kotor.

A good place in the town Heart. The roof top views is nice y the menú very fine.

It is a nice room but poorly thought out bathroom. No shelves by the sink. Our suite was next to a property that sounded like a rave.

This hotel was charming and lovely. Staff was great. However, two of the four rooms my family stayed in were uncomfortably warm.

There's a party next door which goes until 1am, very difficult to sleep until that hour

One of the male receptionist was really made our stay uncomfortable. When we ask some information we got wrong info. Everytime we talk to him he made us feel we are unwelcome. Other than this one person other staff in hotel helped us a lot.

Loved this hotel! A boutique hotel in the heart of the Kotor old town. The facilities were 10/10 and the staff were helpful whenever we had a question. The room and the bathroom were spacious with all the amenities we could need. The breakfast every morning was great and the restaurant on the roof had and incredible view and even better food.
