This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in wonderful location, spotlessly Clean wonderful shower, helpful staff I can’t think of anything I would change

Stayed here 2 nights, not a particularly friendly reception greeting or general service, good location, restaurant was a bit disappointing (costly and bang average. Would not go back to be honest

We chose to stay here on both ends of our Galapagos trip. With no preconceived ideas of Quito, we weren’t sure what to expect, from the city or the hotel itself. We were more than pleasantly surprised by both. The hotel was perfectly located within the Centro Historico, and provided easy access to most of the sites in Quito. Historic colonial architecture, a lovely interior courtyard with daily offerings (chocolate tastings and wine tastings), a small bar pouring the best Pisco Sours we’ve encountered in this trip combine to make this a comfortable and welcoming home away from home. The rooms are very well appointed with massive beds, spacious bathrooms with walkin showers and ample room to spread out your luggage to organize for your next destination. The hotel staff was extremely responsive and accommodating, especially with their help arranging transport to/from the Quito airport. We would definitely stay at Las Casona de la Ronda if our travels ever bring us back to Quito! 5 Stars!

Breakfast looked fresh, Bar was very small but had good options. The hotel was a cozy boutique; quiet street only drawback was that axis weren't able to drop off in front of location.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and the location was ideal—close to everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The hotel was amazing, set in a historical site. Loved that it was set in the middle of a small local market with multiple restaurants and souvenir shops. The breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. The staff is so welcoming, helpful and nice. Rooms were clean and tidy as well as comfy. They set up our pick up and drop off from the airport and our guide was also amazing. Recommended 10/10! Will for sure stay here again.

The hotel is a “one of a kind”. Located in the historic part of Quito in a former large colonial home. The ornamental paintings on all the walls create an indoor garden atmosphere. Our room was quite large with a comfortable king size bed. The washroom is well appointed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Eggs are made to order. The artisanal bread was a nice touch. There is no elevator, so ask for a room on a lower floor if you have mobility challenges or think the high altitude might make a little tricky to climb too many stairs. The location is close enough to walk to many of the main attractions in the old town. We only had breakfast at the hotel so we can’t comment on their dinner. There’s an excellent restaurant just next door and in the other direction, about a minute away are several family run restaurants that are worth trying We can’t emphasize enough how attentive, kind and helpful the staff are at this hotel. Staying at La Casona was a terrific part of our Quito experience.

Ubicación: El hotel está cerca de la plaza Santo Domingo y de la calle de Ronda. Podíamos ir caminando al centro y a todas las atracciones cercanas. Hay un súper cerca. El personal del hotel muy atento Amenidades: Tienen unas salas en donde te ponen café, té, galletas o si prefieres tienen servicio de auto servicio de bar, en los pisos tienen un garrafón de agua, es un buen detalle para que puedas llenar tu botella, te ponen una jarra, Todo muy bien. Tienen un letrero que después de las 9:00PM no hacer ruido, es muy tranquilo Tienen un guardia de seguridad que siempre te está esperando y te sientes más seguro caminando por la calle. Te permiten enlazar la Televisión a tu celular para que puedas ver tus películas. El único problema es que le ponen el nombre a la televisión TV Hab.3 en vez de llamarla ROOM#3, no hay un instructivo para enlazarte y te están interrumpiendo de otros cuartos enviando la señal a tu cuarto. OJO: Por error fuimos en semana de CARNAVAL... NO puedes salir a ningún lado, todos se avientan espuma en spray, según ellos Carioca y no podíamos salir a ningún lado, pero no tiene que ver con el hotel.

Despite being centrally located, the ambiance is peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect escape from the city’s energy. A rare find that balances luxury, comfort, and tranquility flawlessly.

Very nice inn like hotel. Room was spacious and clean. They sent staff to meet our taxi and walk us to the hotel. Nice dinner and breakfast. The room are filled with tapestries and darker wood and colours so thats a different vibe than a modern hotel. Front desk staff very pleasant.
