いわゆるアメリカで言うモーテルを想像してもらうと分かりやすいかと思います。テレビやアメニティーなど一切ない、トイレとシャワーと空調のみ付いたバックパッカー長期滞在用ロッジです！でも卵、ベーコン、豆料理、トースト、コーヒーの朝食も付きますし、現地ツアーの手配などにも応じてくれました。 特筆すべきは、ここでの滞在中がWi-Fiアクセスが最も良かったことです！ ロッジ付近は特に夜は真っ暗で何も見えなくなるような所なので、街からはタクシー利用が必須です。タクシーは事前交渉ですが安いです。 空港へのお迎えをメールでロッジへ直接依頼して直ぐに返事を貰ったのでとても好印象だったのに、実際は来てくれなかったことだけが残念でした。タクシーで問題なく行けましたが…。ここで2泊し経費をぐっと抑えることが出来たので、その後2日間はオールインクルーシブの素敵な所に宿泊できました！

Amazing and helpful staff and very clean and well-kept property.

The staff were the starts of the lodge. Richard at the bar was a true gentleman. The catering staff were simply amazing and always polite. Let's not forget the gardner who kept the place nice and lush and the pool clean. Our son was in the pool everyday. Great fun.

I was upgraded to a deluxe double room, which was a lovely surprise and made my stay more comfortable. The afternoon/evening receptionist was especially helpful, assisting with my luggage and even helping to contact tour operators, which I really appreciated. However, my experience with the morning receptionist wasn’t as positive. The hotel is also a bit far from the centre of Victoria Falls, so there isn’t much to do within walking distance. One downside was the noise in the evenings, guests in the common area could be quite loud, which affected the overall atmosphere. Breakfast was okay, but nothing particularly memorable.

Room upgrade was a pleasant suprise however ruined by noisy inconsiderate guests in the surrounding rooms. Waiting staff watched me arrive in good time for a dinner order then deliberately ignored me on instruction from the chef whilst I sat in plain view of them all. When I eventually caught their attention, the chef told them to tell me the kitchen closes at 8pm.

Breakfast was consistent and you could order your meal from traditional English breakfast to a stack of pancakes with bananas.

We had a fantastic stay at Livingstone Lodge. The service was good and the staff was really friendly. The room was really big and the pool was cleaned once a day.

I enjoyed my 2 day stay at the Livingstone Lodge. I especially appreciated that they have a restaurant and bar, something a pricier lodge in the area where I also stayed didn't have. Rooms were clean, the staff friendly and the showers and air conditioning worked, again, things that didn't work well in the more expensive lodge in the neighborhood.

We did not have time to use pool but it looked great . Breakfadt excellent and great service. Xx

Positiv: Zimmer sauber (wäre auch jeden Tag gereinigt worden, wenn gewünscht), Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend &professionell (vor allem Richard an Bar und catering), Pool etwas klein aber wunderbar (sehr sauber!)! Organisation und Kommunikation top Verbesserungsvorschläge: bei der Speisenauswahl noch ein vegetarisches Gericht und 1 großen Salatteller, bei Zimmereinrichtung: Adapter für die alten (runden) Zim- Steckdosen, Nachttischlampen/Leselampen, Kleiderbügel für die Kleiderstange (Zi 8), Regal im Badezimmer Sonstiges: eine funktionierende Kaffeemaschine wäre schön :-) Uns hat es (trotz obiger "Mängel")sehr gut gefallen!
