Was nice that it was so close to the lake and other sights. Beds and hut were comfortable and clean and bathrooms and showers were clean. The common kitchen area was nice with all you need but busy and toaster only one side worked. Some dining options were available and decent convenience store nearby. Was the second highest price spot we stayed on the ring road so felt a little high for a hut 300 feet from the bathroom. Also, you can get breakfast but it costs $35 each!!

Stayed in the mini huts. Clean cabin, comfortable bed. No WIFI. Washrooms farther from cabin than website suggests.

Die Hütte ist süß. Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt.

I bagni distanti e non molto funzionali. I cottage troppo piccoli, senza possibilità di appendere nulla, e senza prese elettriche (1 per tutta la stanza), riscaldamento funzionante bene. Il panorama era bello.

Hutje was klein en had kieren. Gebrek aan eigen wc was grootste ongemak! De gezamelijke wc was ver lopen. Was zeker te duur voor wat geboden werd.

Nice little place. The shared bathroom was musty in the showers. Lake front is across lava field and highway. Really cute huts, clean linens, kettle in room and heat. It was convenient location for our ring road trip!

Eine gemütliche einfache Holzhütte, Heizung funktioniert wunderbar, ebenso eine hübsche Lampe für den Abend, Wasserkocher und zwei Tassen und eine kleine Terrasse mit zwei Stühlen und Tischchen mit Blick auf diese einzigartige Landschaft.

Nice cozy cabin even had WiFi.

Very good location for tourists to Iceland. Very nice staff. Good value for given shared facilities, like kitchen, showers, bathrooms. The door in our cabin got stuck when trying to open or close it.

Svært enkel hytte, men sengene var heldigvis gode. 150 meter til WC og et veldig enkelt kjøkken. Ikke adgang til vannkoker utenom resepsjonen åpningstid. Ikke stoler i hytta. Lite koselig.

The place was clean. Kitchen in the hostel had the necessary tools. I like the showers near the reception. My only issue is washroom was not in the hut so I had to bundle up just to go to the washroom.

We originally booked for a cabin, but they put us up in a guesthouse due to cold weather conditions. There was no additional charge for what I’m assuming was an upgrade in accommodations. So thoughtful and kind!
