We stayed one night last weekend, we had to be moved because the toilet flush didn't work but fortunately that wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are far enough away from the bar so as to be quiet. Our only small criticism of room 3 is that it's in the eaves and the shower screen is fixed so it is almost impossible to turn on the bath tap without actually getting in the bath! A silly design fault. The location on the river is lovely and it was good to have a drink outside in the sunshine in April. Dinner was amazing, the restaurant was packed on a Sunday night but service was quick, friendly and efficient. My Asian burger with king prawns and my wife's baby ribs were amazing and portions were enormous; we had no room for what looked like lovely desserts. £60 for this quality of food with a couple of drinks is excellent value. Breakfast was good too although there was not a great deal of choice. We were the only people staying but would certainly go to this pub again.

Was pleasantly surprised by the family room! Very spacious, welcoming and clean. We stayed for dinner the night before and the food was amazing. Customer service was great too!

lovely people, great food no 3 room was clean and nice just a bit awkward with sloping ceilings, as i am over 6ft tall

The room was ok, although could do with a little tlc. The outside area before you access the rooms was not so nice! Bit scruffy! Breakfast was bit greasy, and veggie sausages gooey! Left most of it.

Stunning room 4 with the most amazing view of the river. A must for bird watchers. The restaurant was amazing…. The staff very helpful. We wanted to stay for ever in that stunning room. Hope to go back in the near future.

Very clean room spacious very quite once pub car park is empty. Pub downstairs is really nice food great. Shower pressure and temperature was soo good

It was very nice If being picky no biscuit with the tea and coffee stuff And i found it difficult to use the bath as couldn't reach the taps but i am very short But really only being picky as it was nice

Really cool place on the water and the food was very good. I was out early in the morning, but was given a nice breakfast to take away. The rooms are definitely an after thought. My room was cold, and no heater. I found an ironing board myself by taking for it. Bed wasn’t great either.

Fantastic staff mostly shout out to poppy who was amazing ! Breakfast and pizzas amazing , views from pub garden lovely , Lady at breakfast very grumpy and told to leave the room early S she needed to clean it although we had an prior arrangement to book out late , she made us leave very rude

Excellent 3 night stay. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a very enjoyable stay. All staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers excellent dining.

What a wonderful place. The room was large and spacious with a wonderful view of the river. Meals were flavourful and plenty. I genuinely say that the breakfast was the BEST I have had in all my years of business travel.

Staff were lovely but bit confusing as to where to check in. Room was nice, spacious and clean, but accommodation areas (including stairways etc) could all do with a bit of sanding down and paint touch ups (peeling paint in bathroom, scuffs on walls…) Not a bad place though, would stay again

Nice big room facing the river .. waking up and opening the curtains to a lovely view.. breakfast was nice.. I would stay again.. will be visiting in the summer
