I stayed at Best Western Hotel from 31 December 2025 to 5 January 2026. The full amount for the stay was paid during check-in and split 50/50 between myself and my friend. However, on 22 January, I noticed an unauthorized charge of AED 3,033.71 made by the hotel to my card. I immediately contacted the reception. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was unprofessional and insisted that the booking had not been paid, despite me providing clear proof of payment. The issue was not resolved at reception level. The team should have first verified their bank records before charging my card again, and only contacted me if any discrepancy had actually been found. I raised a complaint with the hotel owner the same day. I received an apology and written confirmation that the transaction was cancelled. While I appreciate that the charge was eventually reversed, this situation is unacceptable and reflects very poor service and lack of proper internal checks. Guests should not have to deal with unauthorized charges weeks after their stay.

I had a room facing the street and it was very noisy throughout the night. Trucks will drive by dogs were barking and there is a LED orange light that stays on also throughout the night and you can’t turn it off.

The balcony is directly over the military road...continuous trafic day and night...

We had 2 bookings with Expedia for 3 rooms at this hotel, but upon arrival, we were informed by the hotel staff that they have only received 1 booking from Expedia. Instead of throwing us out in the cold (like many other hotels would probably do), they did all the hard work for us by calling Expedia to solve this problem, which is of no fault of theirs. From our vast travel experience, we think most hotels would have expected us to call Expedia ourselves, to try and find out where our booking was. The General Manager, Ms Neena, was very efficient and professional in explaining the whole situation to us.The rooms were clean, and very modern, and all the basic necessities we needed were provided for. Breakfast and meals at the restaurant were also great, with very efficient staff running like clockwork. The jacuzzi and sauna are complimentary, and have to be booked in advance for the privacy comfort of the guests. Free shuttle buses are provided to take guests to the ski lifts. The staff were all very professional and efficient. We can highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Gudauri, and our advice is, if you can afford it, go for the Family Rooms. They are much more spacious and luxurious compared to the standard ones.

This is a solid hotel. Nothing too fancy, but met our needs. Being situated on a switch back makes it difficult to feel comfortable walking to restaurants.

Its good hotel to stay in gudauri with a family....beautiful view in front of hotel....specially when we stay full night in hotel snow falling and morning we enjoy so much.

The hotel canceled our reservation without any notice!! They said the hotel was for COVID people.

It's a farse that this hotel is able to even hold of n to international name... On check in we were downgraded (even without informing us). When we complained, the manager said they are sold out and they will book us in other hotel if we don't like the room. Since ni other hotels were available, we had to stay put in the hotel. Manager agreed to waive off a night's charge and promised to move us to the room category we booked on day 2. But we never heard from them again. On check out it took us 20 minutes to settle the bills as at first they couldn't locate our stay record, then they couldn't figure out room rate, and then they didn't know about not charging for 1 night. We had to trace the manager we spoke on arrival, explain the whole situation again and then reminder her.. to top it off.. we were shown the total charge on calculator and never even recieved a payment receipt on check out. Rooms do not have water bottles, on asking the reception, they ask us ti go to restaurants for water, and restaurant charges 3GEL for 500ml bottles. Restaurant food is good but the whole restaurant is managed by just 2 staff members. on first night we went for dinner at 8:30pm, recieved menu at 9pm, server was free to take order at 9:30 and food+drinks came in table at 10pm. Never will we ever visit this hotel again...

Nice modern hotel, newly built. Rooms have thoughtful touches like many plug outlets, even next to beds etc. However, rooms are a bit small, and the balconies are so small they only fit 1 person. The restaurant on site is quote good though, many different options to choose from, the trout was excellent.
