Place is great! Will for sure stay again. Only bad thing, rooms dont have AC. Usually not needed but was a little warm. But perfect spot, clean, nice beds and customer service. Will be back.

Very clean room and bathroom, bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. Staff was attentive.

This is an excellent location to enjoy the natural wonders in Lake Tahoe area. We had an excellent time supported by a clean and spacious living space. Thank you Firelight Lodge!

Great location for the price staff was friendly and helpfull

This is no frills very nice and clean place. The check-in check-out was a breeze. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is a remote check in hotel. They assign you a room and door code an hour before check in. There was a small pool, no pool towels, that needed cleaning from the bugs. The hot tub was tiny and across the parking lot from the pool. I didn’t like not having any staff to address the issues. The text messages were responding quickly when the internet went out but it still doesn’t replace having someone there.

Overall we had a pretty good stay. We really like the area. The beach is right across the street and nice and quiet. There are three main things needed to make a hotel good. Clean, safe, good bed. The first two delivered…the bed however was too firm. My German friends would love it, not me nor my hubby. The showers had endless hot water. The ice machine had lovely ice like Sonic. The pool was waaaay too warm. It was like swimming in a hot spring. The check in was fairly easy. It was rather odd never seeing anyone in the lobby. A lobby employee gives one a sense of safely. However when I needed towels, it was addressed right away. Still the hotel is a bargain for all that you get in exchange.

Check-in process was very smooth and instructions were clear. Frontdesk was very helpful. The property is close to public lake beach across the street (the beach has very limited sand). Room is clean with refrig, coffee machine and meal plates.

Alors l hôtel est très bien placé, vous traversez la rue vous êtes au lac. La chambre est grande, par contre surchauffée la nuit avec la cheminée, nous avons dû ouvrir la fenêtre ds la nuit tellement il faisait chaud, La literie est un peu molle. Il y a une piscine qui a l air très sympa et un jacuzzi, nous étions en avril, la piscine était fermée, le jacuzzi ouvert. Nous avons été déçu de la vie que nous avions, nous avions un mur… Par l hôtel n’a Pas pas de réception, il faut faire l’arrivée par internet. Ils ont été super sympa, nous n avions pas eu notre valise à l’aéroport, elle a été livré et la femme de ménage a accepté de rentrer la valise dans la chambre, merci à vous. Nous reviendrons mais nous demanderons une autre chambre avec une vue plus sympa

This is our go-to for easy access to northstore and palisades on a budget.

In order to enter our room 112 we had to enter our code twice. Not sure why??? Maybe have someone take a look at the lock.

Great location to Northstar and Incline Village, Right across the street from Lake Tahoe with a nice beach, the rooms are always clean, and the staff are friendly and quickly respond to any questions or concerns. We have stayed here twice and will return

The property employs a unique self-checkin system. The guest is phone-interviewed and asked to perform online registration fill-ins. After that, the guest must call a number to get a door security code. All happened during normal business hours (before 7pm). So, I interacted no one at the lodge office. At checkout, I had to lock the door with the same security code and send text to let the management about checkout. Well, the system worked out for me...

Clean and spacious…

This is our second time at the Firelite Lodge and it was a solid as the first. Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds at a very good price. Easy check-in/checkout. Great location to getting up to Truckee or to Northstar Ski Resort.

Always an easy and comfortable stay. Great location 25 min to alpine meadows and under 15 to northstar.

Such a great place to stay! Loved every minute of it and the views of the lake were heaven unearth! And the people that run the place are just so kind caring and hospitable! One of the locals told me it was the best place in town to stay. And she always put some up there when her family visits.

Room greatly exceeded expectations! Remote check in was extremely convenient, and the process was very communicative/informative. My room had full stocked shampoo & soap dispensers in the shower. Very walkable with the lake & small park right across the street!
