Sehr schönes und modernes Hotel am See. Ruhiges, schönes und sauberes Zimmer mit allem was man braucht inklusive Kühlschrank. Sehr schönes und modernes Bad. Habe sehr gut geschlafen und mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist auch genial. Direkt am See und nicht weit weg vom Bahnhof Locarno, von der Bushaltestelle und vom Piazza Grande. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr schöne Lobby und Restaurant. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Leider gibt es im Hotel Restaurant nur noch gehobenere Courmet Menus zu einem hohen Preis. Normale Menus gibt es leider nicht mehr.

The Hotel Lago Maggiore is everything you’d want for your time in Locarno and more. It is modern, beautiful, sparkling clean, well-maintained, expertly staffed, and ideally located. What truly distinguishes the hotel is first and foremost how you are treated, from the warm welcome and recognition of returning guests to the attention they pay to every detail, with extra kindnesses that include bottles of water in your room each day and a thank you gift when you leave. The view from each of the lakeside rooms is absolutely stunning and instantly brings a smile to your face when you open the drapes in the morning. It is wonderful sitting outside whether on the room’s terrace, the rooftop terrace, or on the ground-level bar/lounge/restaurant terrace. The icing on the cake is the restaurant. Breakfast is delicious, as is lunch, but dinner is truly exceptional — do try the tasting menu for an unforgettably perfect meal! We had a terrific time and hope to return soon!

Alles perfekt

Das Zimmer war ideal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen. Das Frühstück bot eine gute Auswahl. Einziger Minuspunkt: Das Restaurant und die Bar sind am Montag- und Dienstagabend geschlossen – das ist wirklich etwas schade.

Rooms and bathroom were vet clean and good size, great views of the lake from private balcony, and close to train . The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Best hotel from our trip through Italy in way to Switzerland and France,

Amazing stay, loved it, it was literally perfection with the expedition of so many people allowed with dogs at the restaurant it seemed a bit off and kinda off putting but other than that would stay again. And highly recommend.

Wunderbares Hotel mit 1a Restaurant.

When I walked into this property I knew it was going to be a great stay. The presentation of everything is fantastic. The setting on the lake is gorgeous and when I got to the room it was no different. The room was absolutely spectacular as the rest of the property was . The bed was super comfortable. All high-end hardware for the door handles the bathroom hardware. Everything was an incredibly high standard quality build. Even the hotel room door is something I would love to have on my own house. Great place and I will definitely be staying there again. Maybe next summer

Frábært hotel. Glæsilegt útsýni. Rúmgott herbergi og mjög snyrtilegt. Mæli hiklaust með þessu hóteli. Þetta er með betri hótelum sem eg hef dvalið á.
