料理もスタッフもみんな良かった。 積雪のため道に少し迷ったが、その分ロビーの囲炉裏とか見た時、来た甲斐があったと喜びました。 温泉も貸し切りでゆったりできました。 また来たいと思えた宿。

It was such a unique experience. Beautiful, traditional room, amazing meal, soothing hot springs and unforgettable staff! One of my best stays anywhere in the world ever!!

This is an exceptional ryokan. Only three rooms but very large rooms with a sunroom with "western style" chairs for those of us who aren't as limber as we used to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Quiet location with excellent views of the mountains. The food here is sensational and comes with English explanations of the dishes. They are very particular in adhering to any requests guests may have with regard to what they can and can't eat. The dining room has "western style" seating also. The onsen facilities are excellent. I can't recommend this ryokan highly enough. It is quite something.
