Amazing location and views from the property. Facilities very well maintained.

Hôtel exceptionnel! Vue sur la vallée à couper le souffle. Le personnel est très gentil. La vue des deux piscines est incroyable. Les chambres sont parfaites. Le petit déjeuner buffet est copieux. À recommander: moment de bonheur assuré!

You must stay at this hotel!!! Breathtaking views! The breakfast buffet was amazing and we were able to eat outside while enjoying the picturesque scenery. The swimming pool was also great!

Stunning venue, great wine and easy transport from Pinhão station. Did the wine tasting and had a massage service. Both great experiences. Only minor issue was the limited food options, although one night the buffet included a BBQ which went down well.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten in den Weinbergen, 2 Pools und top Restaurant. Personal ist super freundlich, wir hatten einen spitzenmässigen Aufenthalt.

The property was one of our favorites throughout our trip. The food was goi. Staff was excellent and the views were spectacular.

Só senti falta de room service, esqueci de pegar água e precisei sair do quarto às 23h para pegar e o restaurante já estava fechado. No mais tudo certinho. Adoramos o hotel e a vista é fantástica. Recomendo.

Staff are so helpful, polite and professional. And the location is an absolute dream. I would recommend this to couples of all ages. But not large groups. It’s a peaceful and relaxed environment.

O hotel é lindo, numa localização incrível, mas a parte de alimentação deixa a desejar. No café da manhã o suco de laranja é artificial e a reposição dos itens nem sempre é feita como deveria ser é um ponto negativo do café é que começa as 8:00. Poderia ser mais cedo tendo em vista que muitas pessoas saem para o aeroporto antes deste horário. No jantar, a qualidade dos pratos deixa a desejar. Vista incrível e quarto bem espaçoso e confortável.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The view is amazing. Dinner at the restaurant was wonderful and the service was excellent. We hated to leave.

The view was exceptional

Hotel within a gorgeous setting surrounded by vineyards and a great view of the Douro valley the food was also very good although the restaurant must add salads to their menu! I wish I had spent at least 3 days here just relaxing !!!

The property was set back with a beautiful view overlooking the winery and Duoro Valley. Accommodations were large with a nice deck. The bed was uncomfortable but we were only staying one night. The restaurants included a buffet which we went to to for breakfast and for one drink as well as a sit down dinner restaurant. The service at the reserved dinner was subpar. Our waiter was tending to a table of six and focused on that table much of our visit. Never coming over to see how our meal was or if we wanted or needed anything. Probably the worst service we have ever received in a supposedly fine dining environment. At check in the front desk personelle never explained the winery reservations are required and that there is only specific times for English speaking tours. We arrived at 3:00pm and the English tour was only at 3:30pm that day and that information would have been beneficial and appreciated. Even a letter or pamphlet expressing this info would be helpful. We went down to the winery and asked to do a taste in gas guests of the hotel and they said we can’t so that. Our options were a 4:30 Portuguese speaking tour or the next day at 10:30am. We couldn’t even order a glass of wine at the winery. We were told to go to the buffet to order wine. Very disappointing as a guest. We decided to partake in the Portuguese speaking tour. All in all we would go back for the view only the rest needs much improvement.

Estamos muito tristes com o atendimento. O hotel não possui serviço de quarto, então reservamos uma mesa no horário mais cedo disponível para jantarmos (19:30h). Quando pedimos a sobremesa, nosso filho começou a chorar e os norte americanos "não gostaram" e pior, o garçom veio a nossa mesa reclamar que nossa criança chorava. Tivemos que deixar vinho e sobremesa e sairmos do restaurante. Sequer nos foi oferecida opção de levar a sobremesa e vinho pro quarto. LAMENTÁVEL esse tipo de tratamento. Não volto mais e não recomendo para família com criancas.

Quite remote, had to taxi everywhere, quite expensive to get to villages 30-40 Euros one-way. No face cloths, no body lotion, no facial tissues, vanity kits. Dining room was over 600 meters away. From our room it was 114 stairs to breakfast room. Area and property was beautiful, views spectacular. We expected to hike to different vineyards but was only offered one hike to the top of the mountain to a village with no amenities. Walked down to the main highway but could not walk any further because there were no highway shoulders. We came to hike but really could not.
