O Hotel é excelente ! Lindo, limpo, bem localizado e com uma vista de tirar o fôlego! Equipe atenciosa e prestativa! O quarto é super espaçoso, com amenidades; o café da manhã é farto, completo e delicioso; indicamos também o restaurante que nos atendeu, mesmo sem termos feito reserva ! Os pratos "à la carte" servidos estavam incríveis ! O único ponto a considerar, que para nós não foi importante, é que o hotel tem escadas externas para o deslocamento ao restaurante, recepção, piscina... Se houver problema de mobilidade, isto pode ser um impedimento. Super recomendo e, se tiver oportunidade, com certeza voltaremos !

Beautiful property with excellent service

Propriedade linda e bem cuidada. A vista do Douro é maravilhosa. Quarto confortável e equipe amável. Café da manhã com muitas opções.

Everything was amazing. Staff was cooperative. View was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was great. Very nice food. Only one draw back was Expedia did not mentioned in room description that there were 80 + steps to climb to go to family rooms. But staff helped us go up and down in golf cart which they said they do not do normally. I would come again for view and great service they provided. My therapeutical massage was cherry on top. Overall great experience. Relaxed and enjoyed this property.

This is a very average property, with a very nice view. The staff isn't very friendly from the minute we walked in the door. None of the amenities were open, or they were all booked. So if you want to eat dinner apparently you need to call weeks ahead. The breakfast is very average. It's like a selection of grocery store bought goods and and a couple of hot things. Also no cups, which apparently was a chore to be asked for one. But then the worst part, is that construction on the property apparently starts at 7:00 a.m. sharp. Nothing like waking up to an angle grinder cutting rebar. Would probably look fo stay somewhere more local next time.

The site is amazing, with the hotel's buildings scattered artfully across a number of terraces that traverse the steep hillside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and even had a lovely balcony facing the Douro. The big pool was gorgeous and a delight to swim in. Our only meals on site (two breakfasts and one dinner) were buffet-style--perfectly acceptable but nothing special.

Our stay at Vila Gale Douro Vineyards was absolutely wonderful. The views were breathtaking, the amenities were excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of options each morning. The room was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our little family. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend staying at Vila Gale if you’re visiting the Douro Valley, it was an unforgettable experience.

Stedet ligger virkelig smukt og praktisk. Morgenmad er virkelig lækker og værelserne dejlige. God service og mad i restauranten

A equipe e maravilhosa, mas tivemos vários problemas. O banheiro tinha cheiro ruim por falta de calafetação no vaso, relatei mas não foi resolvido, fiz a vedação com pasta de dente. Em 3 dias de meia pensão não serviram carne bovina . Tentamos agendar massagem no SPA, mas era dia de folga , nunca vi isso. O hotel é um ponto para grupos grandes de ciclistas e etc, que fazem muito barulho, risadas altas no restaurante incomodando outros hóspedes e ninguém os repreende. Foi muito frustrante. Já ficamos em vários hotéis Vila Gale, maravilhosos, mas esse não bom.

Hotel numa localizaçao previlegiada. Instalações, equipe de funcionarios e café da manha excelentes. O unico detalhe eh que para quem tem dificuldades para caminhar dependendo de onde eh o quarto, tem que utilizar veiculo para acessar restaurante, cafe da manhã, recepção etc. Quem não tem dificuldades eh excelente para fazer exercicio. Hotel altamente recomendável

Beautiful views, excellent wine tour and tasting. Front desk very helpful. I wish the workers building the spa would not start hammering at 7am

The property is located in the beautiful valley on top of the mountain. The drive up to the check in was a small , narrow , cobblestone driveway. Once arrived we quickly checked in and were escorted to show us where to park the car and where the breakfast location was. Luckily we were located on the 5 th floor terrace so we only had to take the suitcases down to terrace 5 from terrace 7 where we parked. The room was a perfect size with a beautiful view of the grape vine mountainside and the river. There was a fridge and big walk in shower. The breakfast was spectacular with fresh squeezed orange juice and a chef to make omelets or over easy eggs ! They had 2 places to get food but unfortunately when we checked in on night one there was no availability until 9 pm at main restaurant . The next night we had reservations at 8:30 pm and that was the earliest! Edjardo who checked us in recommended a restaurant downtown and helped us get a taxi there and a return taxi , which cost $100 euros! So when you book a room , make dinner reservations at the main dining for a spectacular view and great menu variety. There are a lot of stairs so check to see if someone can help with suitcases to get to your room. Also when you book, ask if someone can take u to their main dining restaurant yet or you will have to drive ,or walk up and down the cobblestone driveway. There are some lights ,

Hôtel avec une situation / vue magique ! Propreté impeccable et personnel adorable ! Petit déjeuner succulent ! Le restaurant de l’hôtel sert une cuisine simple mais délicieuse à un prix défiant toute concurrence. Attention cependant, cet hôtel n’est pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Le site est escarpé et l’accès à toutes les infrastructures se fait par escaliers.
