I am never the type to leave a review but with our horrible experience, it's a must. To start off, we arrived and there was no remote for our TV. We reached out to customer service and apparently there's only workers from 8am-4pm. So we had to wait 24hours for a response/resolution. The next morning, they brought a remote but it was for the wrong TV. I called in to escalate the issue and they provided a gift card so we can purchase a universal remote. I guess that was good enough UNTIL!!! We see a mouse in our room!!!! I pick up the phone and call them again and they did move us room within an hour. Also, we went down to the basement to see the kitchen & lounge and we see more mice in the kitchen!Never staying here again. Oh and not to mention, they have no parking so we had to pay $55 a day at the nearest parking garage. So yea I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. PS. The WIFI SUCKS! It's super slowwww and their TV's.

We stayed in Kasa la Monarca SF in early May 2025. The area is central and very convenient, whether you need Moscone Center or many other destinations, with restaurants and stores nearby, and the price is reasonable for the area. The building blends in with neighboring residential buildings. The staff is rarely seen and doesn't enter your room, but if you need some service, like a change of bedding, clean towels, or garbage removal, you can request it through their virtual front desk. The locks are electronic (even though the keyhole is also present). We had a mini fridge and a mini microwave in our room. The building is quiet, and we didn't hear any outside noise, but our windows overlooked the inner yard, not the street. The bedding and towels were clean, and the mattress with a memory foam top was comfortable. You can turn on/off the central heat radiator in your room at will, as some days in SF can be chilly. The shared facilities are where you can encounter the staff and greet your neighbors. The washers/dryers are coin-operated, with a change machine available. The kitchen has a large fridge (you must mark your food with room number and the leave date), electric stove, water filter/cooler, kettles, and coffee machine. There was plenty of kitchenware, towels, paper towels, soap, coffee packets (decaff only), sugar, salt, creamer, and more. You are asked to clean up after using the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel.

It was perfekt. Close to the city center and also to the ocean. Very clean, very good equipped. Comfortable bed.

C'est dommage de ne pas avoir de personne physique devant soi lorsqu'on rencontre un problème. Exemple, arrivée dans la soirée, le code de la chambre ne fonctionne pas. Du coup, on ne peut converser que par mail pour avoir de l'aide. Et le temps qu'une personne vous réponde (entre temps des réponses automatiques) on perd patience. Il a fallu 3h d'attente pour avoir un autre code qui fonctionne. Cela a gâché le séjour.

There is no staff inside, so when there is an issue, it is not solved or addressed immediately. I had water leaking from upstairs dripping through the closet at night around 7pm, I reported through text, and they called me. They tried to help through phone call, but still end up I clean all the mess. They offered changing room, but I only have 2 more night to stay and changing room is a bit too much for me all the sudden. Overall the hotel itself is nice. I stayed almost 3 weeks and I really liked overall stay, kitchen & lounge. However, if you are looking for timely service or housekeeping like any other hotel, it will not likely. Location is also key. It is located center of SF downtown, easy to access to MUNI. Pretty safe to move around.

Il n'y a aucun personnel sur place, tout se fait par internet ( ou par téléphone si vous avez un numéro us et parlez correctement l'anglais).... Alors quand le code pour rentrer dans la chambre est incorrect vous faites quoi? Arrivés à 20h30 il a fallut plus de 3h pour que l'équipe au bout d'internet (presque minuit) nous donne enfin le bon code pour rentrer dans la chambre. La gestion de cet incident a été très laborieuse alors que cela aurait pu être réglé en qqs minutes. Pour cela je déconseille cet hybride hôtel/ Airbnb... Pourtant tout le reste a été positif : Très bon rapport qualité/ prix. Vieux bâtiment ( d'un autre âge, pas moderne du tout) mais bien rénové. Propre. Chambre spacieuse de 19 M2 avec four à micro-ondes et réfrigérateur ( rien pour se faire le café) , il manquait les 2 bouteilles d'eau. Cuisine et salle de repas et salon en bas avec grande tv + table pour travailler (étage 0), cuisine tout équipé pour cuisiner, fontaine à eau ( normalement il y a une machine à café distributeur mais aucune dosette sauf le jour de notre départ ?!?!?). Aucune vue autre qu'un mur ( sur 3 chambres premium) aux 2 ème, 4 et 5 ème étage Bon quartier , pas de SDF, pas très loin de Powell street pour attraper le câble car ou 15 minutes de marche pour descendre sur market street, avec le Bart ( station Powell). A part le gros souci pour rentrer dans la chambre..tout a été positif. Hôtel agréable. Bien situé, propre Autre bémol : l'incivilité des humains dans la cuisine commune..

I love staying at Kasa locations the aren’t just hotel they are like being home.The staff is great they make it where they treat you like family if you have a problem they rectify it

Leider war die Unterkunft sehr laut und die Umgebung nicht die beste(Obdachlose) .

Bien situé, mais pas le meilleur quartier. Transport en commun facilement accessible. Communication rapide avec l’hôte. Cuisine pas toujours propre et pas de linge pour essuyer la vaisselle, mais j’ai apprécié la possibilité de pouvoir cuisiner. Pas de système de gestion du lave vaisselle pour indiquer si propre ou salle alors certain ont mis de la vaisselles sales dans les armoires. Cafetière commerciale gratuite (merci c’est apprécié!), mais manque de café au milieu de la semaine et pas de possibilité d’aller en acheter à l’épicerie. Lit confortable. Bruyant mais hôte fourni des bouchons. Chambre aurait besoin d’un nettoyage en profondeur.

The experience was unpleasant. The bathroom was not clean, towels and bedsheets were dirty and had hairs and dirt on it. Heather wasn’t working. There was rodent in the room.

Clean, reasonable price. Parking sucks, but not an bad experience
