ポットでお湯を沸かそうとしましたが、電源が入らず沸かせませんでした。鍋でお湯を沸かし、お玉でコップに移しました。 座布団の中の綿が、ダマになっていて座り心地が悪い。4枚全てがダマになっていた。 敷布団の厚みがなく、畳の硬さを感じる程でした。 バスタブがあるのにお湯はりが出来ないので、秋冬の宿泊は、不向きと思いました。

Beautiful clean home, lots of space for our group of 6. First time trying sleeping on a Japanese futon. Was a bit hard to get used to, but we are accustomed to soft mattresses. Host is terrific at answering questions and someone came by to welcome us and review house rules when we arrived. It was wonderful for our 1 night stay in Hakone!

Very clean and well stocked. Long walk uphill to the house but the view is worth it. Has very clear instructions listed around the house that clears up any confusion immediately.

Location was close to our activities around Lake Ashi. House is clean and has room for up to six.
