Our stay was 6 nights. The room was maxed out to meet our needs and was newly renovated such as nice mini kitchen area, small sleeper sofa and 1 kind bed , desk and chair. Great bathroom space and excellent closet space . Unfortunately our room only had 1 touch up during our stay and I had to go down for towels, toilet paper etc. The hotel does offer free breakfast and the waffle options were good along with basics.. I would have like coffee to be available throughout the day and flavored creamer would have been super. The location was great for us to the Great Lakes Base. I did appreciate the added security in the elevators with room key only access and the USB chargers throughout. We also enjoyed the use of the Gas grill and patio area. We were able to enjoy a picnic with our son.

Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was also exceptional. I believe it was Joshua who helped me check out and he was a joy for sure.

Great for families who need more space than the regular hotel room.

The room was excellent, however the shower head was broken and fixed up with tape, felt a bit off about that.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Returned a jacket to us that we had accidentally left behind. Would stay again.

Jesse at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating! Very professional staff overall. The room was clean, no issues at all. If I was in the area again I would stay there!

The manager and all staff were amazing and very accommodating while we were here for my husbands graduation and his liberty.

Close to the music! Convenient and clean! My only complaint was no hot water.

Great front desk staff and nice room and amenities

This was a great place to stay for our daughter’s Navy boot camp graduation. Easy, short drive to Great Lakes base, shopping and places to eat everywhere, across the street from Sarge’s Meet and Greet, and quiet. We had very noisy upper neighbors and when I told the front desk about it, they went up there and it was quiet from then forward. Good, warm, plentiful continental breakfast every morning, and a nice accommodative staff. Definitely 5 stars and highly recommended!

My wife and I were attending a event at a local theater and needed a room for just one night. The TownPlace by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee was perfect! Plenty of free parking in the well lit lot. Great front desk service during check in (Fran). Coffee, fruit and a few other items in the lobby area were available upon our arrival at 3 pm. The hotel is clean, modern and well laid out. The pool was very nice and the whole area was extremely clean. The room was larger than the usual hotel room with a full refrigerator, stove top, kitchen utensils and other such related items. The bathroom and shower area was a clean and neat as the room. The included breakfast was a real treat and very well done for the type of quick hotel breakfast. The hot food was very welcomed. Excellent stay! Will attempt to stay at a TownePlace Suite whenever possible!

We stayed for our son's boot camp graduation and this place was convenient and clean. They really understood the needs of the visiting military families with gift and information packets.
