Very nice and safe! Amazing!

The hotel is very neat and new. However, the rooms even on the 3rd floor are not very soundproof and the noise from the neighbouring backpackers and road is very loud and could disturb light sleepers

Good location. Ran out of tonic for my G&T.

The room was nice, the pool was awesome.the breakfast was okay. But unfortunately the dinner was not that good. Two time we ordered something and they gave us something else. The meat was not how I asked it. The curry was really good. What I don't understand is the last evening we were the only table in the restaurant, we came around 19.00 (dinner starts from 18.30) but still it took an hour to prepare a pizza and bake some meat. That is really not done. Every other evening it takes more then an hour to prepare our foot while there were only 3 tables at the restaurant. We ale opted for dinner and breakfast option on Expedia. But dinner on expedia means something else for the hotel. We received some voucher for the 3 evenings. Okay it was 350 south african rand per person, which is more or less enough for us. But if you want a starter, main, dessert and wine our beer than it is not enough and you have to pay for the difference. Also something strange was, I contacted via the email form from the hotel to book a taxi from the aiport to the hotel. When we arrived somebody from the reception said we paid to much, he could booked something cheaper. So the reception and somebody else from the hotel are booking other taxis???? So we were ripped off???? Conclusion, the rooms were good, we slept good.

A three night weekend I would care to forget. Firstly I had made the reservation with the option to pay at the property, more than six months ago. 5 days before arrival I was informed that if I didn’t pay immediately my booking would be released. The reason- they were very busy so they were able to sell the room to someone else if not paid in full. They advertise parking although be warned, there’s no security in place so parking is not necessarily reserved for guests. If the parking is full, park in the street with very little concern by staff other than to phone at 11;30 at night and advise you to move your vehicle closer to the hotel. Badly managed, badly run and not worth a second visit.

The service was really mediocre, the waiting time to be served in the restaurant is just intolerable 1 hour for a steak and then 1/2 hour to get a dessert. You have to pay for everything in advance, and there's no bill at the end of your stay. Even to pick up your laundry, you have to pay right away. the windows aren't insulated, so if it's windy it blows right through, when there's street racing it feels like the cars are in the room, there's no storage space for clothes, and when you take a shower the walls aren't watertight, so there's a risk of flooding in the room.

Loved Anew and loved Cape Town. Great location near the waterfront. Staff are the nicest people. I was sad to leave.

Great service and world class restaurant

Very modern and friendly hotel. Great staff. Great location. Airport transfer is listed as an amenity, but rather use Uber or Bolt as the transfer shuttle IS NOT INCLUDED, despite looking like it is.

My flight was canceled twice and i couldn't get there and they changed me the for all the days i paid for even though i had expedia contact them lesson learned i will never book hotel that you pay first

Amazing staff and comfortable rooms

An unfortunate incident happened prior to my arrival. Somebody fraudulent obtained information about my booking details and attempted to extract payment. Since my visa card was compromisedI was advised to block it. This was the day before my departure so I could not receive replacement. The Hotel did not make an exception for me to make payment in cash. I eventually got a good samaritan to accept my cash and pay by credit card. As a result of their refusal to accept cash I had to go out to dine all the times. I could not use any facility that required payment. Except for the above everthing was nice.

We had a pleasant time. Staff was very nice specially at the restaurant. Security staff and maintenance were very cooperative. Close to waterfront. Nice views from rooftop.

We stayed 2 nights pre cruise and 2 nights post cruise. Lovely place, not very convenient for those that can't or don't want to walk to the restaurants, shopping etc. Most are about a 20-minute walk away. V&A and cruise port is about a 30-minute walk. We did not like that there was no vanity to put cosmetics, etc.. No Microwave or Fridge. No washcloth. I always carry one with me at all times.

Another great stay at the ANEW in Green Point. I am getting to like the chain as their hotels are well maintained and very practical.

The staff are superb. They do need to mop the floors in the rooms, they were very dirty. No face (wash cloths which is a norm for the country) Not very close to activities or restaurants, but we are both very active and have no issue with walking (weather permitting) Lovely place thou,
