Clean. Easy access.

Very close to the beach, beach was very nice. Pool and hot tub were clean. Note- there is no AC.

Nice quiet time midweek. Management made sure that checkin/checkout would be without glitches - and they were.

I loved my stay at this townhouse. It was VERY clean and decorated so cute. Towels supplied. The queen bed was so comfortable! The kitchen has everything that could be imagined. Walk right to the beautiful beach. So convenient! The beach isn’t crowded at all and that makes it even more relaxing. The townhouse even has a garage and easy parking. I am so glad I stayed here for my 60th birthday. It made it so special, I hope to come back again soon. I loved it!

The resort itself nice perfect for a single or couple getaway that wants to get away from daily life. Nice pool nice jacuzzi. It got 4 stars because furniture very old imagine going to ur grandparent's house and furniture is over 30 years old no cushion left in the couch or chair no softness whatsoever but beds nice oh and internet majorly slow make sure u come fully work free. The area though oxnard shores for a beach town very quiet the beach is trashed literally debris everywhere branches sticks etc make sure to wear shoes walking to the shore and don't go deep dolphins like u can visbly see the fins nit that far feom shore anyway for rest and quiet resort satisfys that but dont come here for the beach LA beaches are 10x much better

Property is in a great location with a good view of the ocean. Walking distance to the beach. The free bikes on site and heated pool are a nice plus. Place was clean and well decorated. Staff was friendly. Definitely will be back.

Our stay at Mandalay Shores was perfect. We stayed in the two bedroom near the beach. Parking was not a problem in mid March , we parked in front the unit on our six day stay. The pool was behind our unit and the guest who used it were very quiet. Cute and cozy beach spot in Oxnard, would return on next visit.

Our stay at Mandalay Shores was excellent. The proximity to the beach was awesome as it was only a few steps away. The unit was in great shape, very clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Will definitely consider coming back in the future 👍

The office was great communicating with me and accommodating our late arrival and early departure. We were only there briefly for a sleep, but it is described as ocean view, but that is just a glimpse through a small upstairs bedroom window. The place is quite run down and needs an upgrade - cracked tiles, chipped kitchen cabinets and countertops, carpet seemed to be several decades old. Still, it was probably priced for the condition. When I turned on the bedside lamp, I could see dust motes hanging on wall. More attention to detail would help. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Construction next door started about 7 am and was very noisy.

We have now stayed at least 10 times at the Mandalay Shores property; there are many solid reason why we choose this property over hotels and other condos: 1) We do not have pay for parking (often a garage is with the unit); 2) We have no more that 20 feet to our car; 3) We place is always clean and "move in ready" steps to the unit (no long property walks down the hallway) 4) The kitchen is ready for cooking (we use it for snacks mostly and eat out) and you never have to ask if there is a fridge and freezer and full size microwave- hotels its a crap shoot; 5) Room for the kids and PRIVACY; 6) Two bathrooms (no hotel has this); 7) Each unit has ITS OWN WIRELESS ROUTER- NO SHARED BANDWIDTH and no asking you to sign to a "club" to get HS Internet; 8) The neighborhood is silent all year (even during summer); 9) The staff are attentive and make sure you are taken care of days before you arrive; and 10) When you are tired and dragging a-- from a long weekend, your luggage pack out is about 20 steps to your car! Whew. I cannot say enough good things about our "home away from home" but you don't have the BS hotels come with (conventions, long lines, shared walls). We only use it for the weekend, but for a week it would even be better. We look forward to our next trip.

This place was amazing true vacation just bring your clothes and got play in the sand! “It doesn’t get better then this”. Traveling with my husband two children and my mother in law and our Memaw. We was steps away from the beach and this is an enormous beach with plenty sand area a park volleyball and a basketball. The beds are comfortable and squeak free the only thing is that we wished we had more time thank you for making check in and check out so easy!

This is my second time staying here and forgot about the shampoo/soap situation. Bring your own! We had a hard time getting the cable to work and actually just gave up and watched YouTube instead. The office opens up pretty late and the bikes could use some tuning up. It’s nice to have so much space compared to a hotel. This property is in a great location but could really use some extra maintenance and updates to get it up to 5 stars imo.

Average at best. Not inspiring or contemporary. Meh,...heads up there are steps everywhere. Not suitable for little chlldren or seniors or anyone with mobility issues. 13 steep steps to enter. dangerous although well marked step up to kitchen. another 13 steep steps to upstairs bedroom. Not even a little bar of soap in shower and definitely no shampoo or conditioner. Not gracious or generous with any amenity. Only a small pack of decaf coffee. No cooking pans in one of the units. Curtain in bedroom doesn't block out light outside window. close to beach though. gave us an early check in a late checkout which was nice.

Close to everything you’d want. The unit is dated, which you will see in every review. But for the money, it’s worth it. My kids loved the proximity to the beach and the pool/hot tub!
