It’s a great central location, we had one of the Junior suites which had a king size bed, a separate sitting area and a massive shower room. A beautiful period building with just 10 rooms. The reception staff were all very helpful and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The only minor issue, if you needed good broadband connection, was the speed. WiFi coverage was ok but the speed was very poor.

I was lucky enough to have the room in the tower (I think it’s described as the Premium Double) which was excellent. It had a private terrace with impressive views of Cádiz, and was perfectly quiet and extremely comfortable. (Just a note for those with mobility issues: the lift will take you as far as the third floor, but there’s a further flight of stairs to reach room 41 - so a different room might suit some people better)). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa Cánovas again if I ever return to Cádiz.
