Room had mold on bedding and bed frame room smelled like mold water damage all in hallway pool green can’t even see the bottom of it 400$ for 4 night is crazy for that kinda stuff to be happening and plus a 40$ fee on arrival plus a 25$ fee for being 5 minutes early Wi-Fi wasn’t paid/ not working

For the price is was good and the manager was really nice, he really took care of us and was very helpful and nice. The property does need work a lot of things don’t work and seems like water damage to ceilings and f Hallway floors but that could’ve been from a past hurricane flooding, who knows. Breakfast needs some help!! But was a nice stay.

It could use some improvement when you first walk in and see the front area and a humongous sitting area it looks nice. Until you get to the back it looks a little dirty there's water leaking down the Walls the toilets don't flush very well sink is leaking and doesn't have all the equipment to make it spray normally. It does need updated it looks like they dumped more money into making it look good in first impressions but then after that it just fell apart

The staff was amazing! This was a simple, basic well priced room. If you want a budget friendly stay. This is the place.

I like the fact that you get a good room for your buck. I have stayed here a few times and really haven't heard anything from the rooms next to me, unlike some other hotels around the area. Now if only they could get the restaurant up and going would be another star for them but all in all, I enjoy the time I stay every time I stay. Keep up the great work

The room was somewhat clean, but the ants and roaches was unacceptable. The pool was closed without any notice before booking.

Too many roaches in our room, disgusting!

Within this first hour of check in I saw and killed 4 Roaches. Also the pool was green and unusable. Both ice machines were out of order. Basically everything was gross and wrong. Checked out immediately and didn’t stay the night.

This is place is HORRIBLE!!!! I will say the staff was super friendly. Check is at 3 we arrived and no one was in sight. I MEAN NO ONE!! As soon as we walked in it was absolutely uncomfortable with how hot it was. Within 5 minutes of being in our room my son noticed roaches EVERYWHERE!!! The toilet wasn’t working and the room smelled burnt. All night we were killing roaches until I had enough and went to complain. They moved us to another room which did not change the fact that this places is literally covered with roaches. On our bed, in our stuff and got on our food. I immediately booked us another hotel that night. We did not sleep all night due to feeling like bugs were all over us. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY.

Aircondition not to good bathroom not clean and infected with roaches

Found a roach in the bathroom, a roach on the floor I mean a roast on the wall makes you really about it. They’re just a roach issues and stuff saying roaches oh and the sheet and the other queen size bed that was in the room that my son and his wife were sleeping and was kind of dirty. My son was talking about

The staff was super nice and easy to deal with. The property was just super old and ran down. Luckily I had a joint room because one of my showers didn’t work.

The staff was very kind and friendly. However, the A/C was not working in the hallway, but our room had A/C. We did see a few roaches. You can definitely tell the hotel is dated. But, honestly the kindness of the staff certainly balanced out the downsides.

I love the historical history of this hotel. I know its hard times right now to keep up the property (its large) and too expensive to cool the whole building; but the rooms are very nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, its a great value and not a long drive to the Galveston cruise terminal (about an hour). This is now my go to for a night before boarding.

I woke up to a cockroach crawling on my head. The bathroom light didn’t work so they brought in a lamp for me to use. There were small roaches crawling around in the bathroom. The bed had stained sheets. WiFi didn’t work good at all. Overall I would not recommend this property to stay at while in Lake Jackson

The service was great but I booked a king room with Wet bar online and unfortunately they told me they didn’t have those rooms available. Other than not getting the room I booked it was good.
