Spacious rooms and bathroom, very nice grounds, close to the main town area of restaurants, bars and stores but you need to take boat across the split, $1 each way. Nice boat ferry to pick you up at dock terminal when you arrive and take you back at the end of your stay. Walking or biking distance to the two nicest beaches on the island. Ac was great, tv options were great. Restaurant was pricy.

Wonderful spacious cabanas, so cool inside with large beds and a roomy shower. The on-site restaurant was also fabulous. The staff were incredibly helpful. This north side of the Split on Caye Caulker is pristine and quiet. Town is a short hop on a golf cart and 2 min ferry ride.

Our stay has been everything we dreamed off. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The huts have been a delight to stay in and we had a hut that was very close to the water so we could hear the waves at night. I only have positive things to say about our stay and highly recommend. 10/10

The place is clean and the staff are very helpful. You are on the quieter side of the island which we loved but they will take you back and forth by boat which is free of charge. The pool is nice and the place was clean and well maintained. Would recommend!

This property has all the amenities and quiet surroundings. Rooms are very spacious. Great staff. Water taxi service to other island is amazing. Restaurant at hotel has great local options.

We loved El Ben Cabanas! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The grounds are quiet and peaceful. The cabana had all the modern conveniences we could ask for. It was an excellent stay!

Great place, great staff

Our first impression of the resort was amazing. We were greeted at the dock by the hostess who had rum punch for us. A tour of the property showed how immaculate the landscaping was kept. Every day the grounds were raked and the pool cleaned. Our cabana was clean and fresh. Attention to detail was evident and our every need was met. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back for sure!

All the staff members were awesome—friendly and responsive. A shout-out to Morrin, the property manager. The room was large, and the bed was comfy. We ate a lot of our meals at the on-site restaurant after trying the food at a couple of local restaurants. The food at T.T.'s was delicious and reasonably priced. We live in the Northeast, USA, so that is our comparison. The hotel provides a complimentary boat service to the ferry terminals, which are in the heart of the main part of Caye Calker, and a golf cart service to the Split ferries to get to the main part of the Island. All in all, El Ben Cabanas is a quiet oasis on the northern part of Caye Calker.

The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was reasonably good but a little pricey. The advertisement was a bit deceptive, and that you cannot just walk out to the reef and go snorkeling. You need to rent a boat.
