Maybe good stay for Spanish speakers but I don't really speak Spanish and it was a difficult stay for me although the room was cozy. It's cabana style - there was no front desk or reception thus no go to place. The information booklet says you can call them but if you don't speak Spanish, you just don't know how to get the info. (As a tourist, you expect to get the local info from hotel. Phone makes it more difficult than face to face). It was my fault not to have learned Spanish enough but I went to the Easter island to relax yet not really able to fully relax as I felt insecure not being able to communicate.

The property was in a good location. Being picked up at the airport upon arrival was great. Manager did not speak english and failed to mention that dishes for the kitchen were actually in our room. We were not told in advance about the cultural show. There was only a sign in Spanish on the day it took place, so we missed it. The batheoom was extremely small. No bar soap or shampoo available. Breakfast was prepackaged processed foods. Pretty much the same thing for the entire stay. I thought it was nice that a split of wine and 2 glasses were left in the room, only to realize it was part of the mini-bar. We also had 2 single beds when I expected a double or queen. For the price and if you are not too picky, it did the job.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cabanas are a bit worn but it is a great accomodation!

They overbooked so they put us into another hostel the first night. The other hostel wasnt as nice and it ment we needed to check in and out the upcoming day. The WiFi doesn’t work even in the lobby. Except this the stay was nice and the woman working there do try to help. The pickup at the airport was really good!

The staffs are so good but It maybe a little bit difficult to contact staff in the afternoon timely. (Need phone to contact to them in the front desk) A room was stuffy so it can be improved by making screen door I think. There are many flowers on the way to the room in the garden, it’s so nice. 15 min walk to the town center.

Take this one. You will be happy. Nimm das hier, nimm es einfach du wirst zufrieden sein.

The hotel is very comfy and on beautiful grounds...I am a professional photographer and I stayed for 6 Nights and 7 days, and would recommend this place to anyone going to Easter Island (Rapa Nui). Cecelia was excellent and took care of all guests with extra care and attention...exceptional staff at this small hotel. Be forewarned, if you are walking and do not rent a car, it is quite a hike to town or an expensive cab ride...I rented a car all week, so it was not an issue, in fact, i liked being removed out away from the main parts of Hanga Roa Only two problems, the water was never very hot in the shower, just warm, but during the time i was here, weather was quite warm out and humid, just hard to warm the chill off myself after getting caught in a torrential rain down pour... And the second problem is not any the fault fo Cabanas Anakena, the neighboring house had a dog that barked and carried on all night long, had to sleep with my ipod in my ears to drown him out most nights...but this is common on the island, had the same issue when i stayed at another place in the center of town three years ago.. island is full of dogs, chicken/roosters, and horses walking about everywhere. Beautiful property, complimentary breakfast, great rooms complete with refrigerator, dishware, and access to a kitchen to cook, and a freezer to make ice from water bottles. And Cecelia is one of the best hosts for any property where i have had the pleasure of staying.

We stayed 7 days. Very clean, quite, very friendly service. They help you for anything you need from good low cost car rental or site recommendation. I highly recommend. Cecilia is great person. I am very happy.

We were picked up at the airport and greeted with beautiful flowers.had a qick tour of the town,then shown to our room.it was small but comfy. We did not get hot water that night or breakfast that we requested when booked. But we talked to the manager and she was apologetic. Propane tank needed to be changed. ... They said there was a problem with the propane hook up. The owners were around in the afternoon and greeted us with warm smIles and apologised for the breakfast .as it was lost in translation? Any ways.... they invited us for BBQ that night which was lovely, they also put us in a bigger cabana. ... No complaints here. Super nice people . Everyone was helpful. Hotel is 15 minute walk to main street. Or rent a car from the hotel... Would return...

Les cabanas sont situées en périphérie du centre du village, donc compter une bonne quinzaine de minutes de marche pour accéder aux magasins, restaurants, ... Sinon, les hébergements sont situés dans un joli petit jardin très agréable, au calme. Le service de petit-déjeuner est assuré de manière très sympathique. Seul bémol : les hébergements auraient vraiment besoin d'un entretien : meubles parfois vétustes, intérieur des meubles de cuisine, portes et vitres sales, ... Nous avons commencé notre séjour par un nettoyage des meubles de cuisine et de la gazinière ... pas top ! Attention, pas de wifi contrairement à ce qui était mentionné dans la description du logement

I booked a double room for myself and a twin rooms to my friends. My friends complaint the water for taking shower in their room was not hot so they came to my room to take shower. There were only 3 hangers in the wardrobe. My double room was not big, i needed to move the bed in order to open two 29 inches luggage. There was no TV and no window in the room. A small window was in the toilet. The hotel said they had wifi but there was no signal . Actually the network for internet of the whole island was weak. Breakfast was very simple. Only bread, a slice of cheese, ham, salami and an egg provided. I stayed in this hotel 3 days, they provided same things for breakfast everyday. I rented a car from the hotel. It was cheaper than a car rental company. As it was cheap, the car was in bad condition. It was dirty, all doors needed to open and knock manually. The watershield wipers were hard to move. It was OK for having a car to travel around the small island.

CABAÑAS con malservico, muy sucias, appestosas muebles deprimentes pisos llenos de mugre desayuno pesimo administracion mala , me cobraron doble porque no reconocieros el pago que hice via internet, administtradora grosera, llenas de insectos y cucarachas ni aire acondicionado, no cable , no internet

PROS: Great and helpful staff, location very close to hiking path leading to Orongo site atop crater, breakfast pretty good. CONS: Walls very thin and able to hear clearly into next room, wifi very weak, bathroom needs improvement (water never really gets very hot and shower doesn't drain well).

These quant cabanas encircling the center courtyard filled with palms and banana trees was a paradise. We would highly recommend this place. Exceeding expectations, the staff upgraded our two twin bed bookings to a 5 bed cabin, which was like having our own house following the hostelling we had been doing on the mainland.
