I chose this accommodation because it looked peaceful and offered a chance to stay among locals. The facilities are sufficient and practical, and staying in the house gives you the feeling of living like a local. The location is quite convenient for getting to Kiyomizu, Fushimi, and Kyoto Station. There is nearby parking available for 800 yen per 24 hours. If you have time, you can take a morning walk along the river. The atmosphere is really nice. The Hokkaido ramen shop at the entrance of the alley near the parking area is delicious, and on the opposite side of the street is Sanjusangendo Temple, which is definitely worth a visit.
