早朝に到着したため、チェックインまで荷物を預かって頂きました。この日は大雨で、観光できる状態ではなくなったので、30分ほど早めにホテルへ。ずぶ濡れだったので、少し早めにチェックインさせてもらえることを期待していましたが、アーリーチェックインは難しかったです。 コテージの部屋は、フロントから屋根のない道を歩くので、部屋に行くのにも濡れるので雨の日は注意です。預けていた荷物は部屋に置いておいてもらえるかと思いきや、そのサービスはなかったです。 部屋は寒く、暖房に切り替えましたが、暖房の効きが悪く寒いままだったのが残念でした。床がやや汚かったり、コンクリート調の部分があり冷たかったので、スリッパがあったら嬉しかったです。 シャワー室は半オープンになっており、水が浸水しないよう気を使う必要がありました。 スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーで、英語が未熟な私たちにも親切に接して頂き嬉しかったです。

The design of hotel is cool. Terrace in front of bedroom was really comfortable, we enjoyed beer and coke there feeling wind and sunshine.

The hotel was wonderful! It is in a great location, wonderful staff and fun vibe. The beds are very comfortable. There could be a bit more counter space in the bathroom, but the showers have lots of hot water. I love the complimentary mini bar, g&Ts and continental breakfasts. I would highly recommend staying here. It is a lovely experience!!

We stayed a few nights in Warders Cottages and one night in the newer Garde Hotel - the rooms are very different but both high quality and nice touches such as still & sparkling water on tap and a free mini bar selection. If you like character then go for the cottages as the room in the main hotel could have been anywhere. The only complaint/suggestion would be to have some sort of sheer blind etc in the Warders Cottage room as people can see into your room from the street so you end up getting dressed with the curtains closed! Apart from that all was great - and Emily Taylor their restaurant is definitely worth a visit! (By the way, just in case you aren't aware this hotel is not in Central Perth, Freo is about a half hour easy train ride away.)

Room was fantastic and . the staff were very friendly and the complimentary drink at the bar/restaurant was the perfect start to the evening. Cant wait to visit Fremantle again.

GUS Premium Room on 4th floor of the modern Garde Hotel. Very comfortable, spacious room with large bathroom. Room 414 faced west, so avoided any noise from Freo Social Music venue next door. No noise heard from other guest rooms. King size bed, next to the picture window. I would not recommend this room layout for anyone with mobility issues or poor flexibility - you either have to clamber over your partner or manoeuver around end of bed to get out! No problem for us though. Design is minimalist. There is a hanging rail instead of a wardrobe, and a large single drawer that requires bending over to reach. Free one-off mini bar included in room price, and a welcome drink between 4 - 7pm in Anglesea's bar. Tea & Coffee (pod & instant) available in room. There are complimentary water carafes that you can refill with still or sparkling water in each corridor - great idea, particularly if you're going out for the day! The bathroom is excellent. Rainfall shower (no showercap in room - ask at reception). Deep bath for soaking in, etc, etc The breakfast is continental - fresh fruit, granola, pastries. Gluten free choices available. Cooked breakfast available, but we were too full! Overall, a delightful stay - we will be back.
