The guest house was welcoming and clean. Plenty of room in the twin bedroom and the bath/shower en-suite. Hanging and clothes storage was ideal. The beds were comfortable with lovely bed linen which felt luxurious. There was lots to choose for the delicious vegetarian breakfast which was served in our room. Our lovely hosts were friendly and helpful when needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Norcroft is a small, family run guest house. The style is traditional and cosy. Great location for Penrith, near the town centre, just far enough away to be quiet. It's vegetarian and the breakfast was good. There's lots of choice and variety and it's delivered to your room. There's a small car park. The couple are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, with tea and coffee facilities and ensuite bathroom, including toiletries by Miniml (all natural ingredients). The rooms are on 2 floors, so there are stairs.

Cracking B&B, Not far from town centre. And somewhere to park! Ideal. Host's were lovely, had a free cookie when I arrived, Went well with a cuppa. Lovely pub 5 min away, Very good prices!!..... And yes I apologise, I was rather worse for ware in the morning. Breakfast looked excellent, but I had to abstain??.... Would stay again.

Received a warm welcome on arrival. The cookie was lovely! The room was all I needed it to be and easily worth the price I paid. Breakfast delivered to my room was an unexpected luxury and was very tasty! I would surely stay there again.

I stayed in a single room for one night in March. The room was well furnished and comfortable. There were lots of options in the vegetarian breakfast menu. Breakfast was served in the room. The owners were friendly and attentive. Whenever I return to Penrith, I intend to stay there again.

From the very warm welcome I received I knew I was going to experience a lovely stay. After a long days ride to Penrith to be greeted with a slice of delicious home made cake was a real treat. Paula & Marks purposeful choice of natural toiletries in the bathroom and top quality ingredients for the scrumptious vegetarian breakfast made this a memorable stay that I would very much like to repeat

Parking is off a side road, in a private car park. Big rooms more like little flats with a bath

Mark & Paula are wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and made me feel at home even though I booked it extremely last minute (6:30pm checking in at 8!). The place is lovely - cosy and very clean - and the bedroom was very comfortable. And to make it all even better, the breakfast included was amazing and had great vegan options!

Everything and the couple stood out. Beyond the best host I have ever seen. They contributed my goodluck as God granted me success in my interview

On my journey home I needed to stop over and pulled into Penrith, booked at 2050 and by 2120 I was in a spotlessly clean, very comfortable room with a green tea and delicious home made cookie. Breakfast was excellent too and hosts so very welcoming. As a solo, female traveller I felt very safe and at ease. I Would recommend to any type of traveller.

Staff very friendly.

Freshly cooked breakfast and exceptionaly helpful host and hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. Helped with nearby alternatively parking as emergency building works blocked the normal parking area.

Lots of little things that could be improved on in room, the breakfast was outstanding and served in room very nice.
