We only got to stay one night at Botánica but we plan to stay there again when we return to Medellin. The room with one double bed was just fine for us - me, my husband and 7 year old. There was even a little desk. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast fantastic, the location amazing. You can walk to the metro and across the street is a vinyl listening bar plus tons of food options everywhere. Yes the room is small (but we have stayed in smaller) so if you really need a giant room then maybe find a fancier place and you’ll pay a lot more because most hotels/hostels at this price in the city have smaller size rooms. We loved Botánica, for the location, decor, breakfast, price and overall vibe. Loved how the place feels and is decorated and how friendly everyone is. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

It was a great experience. The place is gorgeous and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. The area is surrounded by restaurants, night life and a great atmosphere. We loved our stay there.

Important to clarify that this is actually a guesthouse and not a hotel. My room in particular was not the best. Small bathroom and no natural light. It was next to the living room and kitchen, so you would hear other guests chatting and using the facilities at most hours. Location and breakfast staff were good but it’s important

Un hermoso concepto de hotel que te hace sentir como en casa. Todos muy amables y atentos antes, durante y después de la estadía. Sin duda volvería a llegar al mismo lugar.

Excelente lugar, sólo les recomiendo revisar las cajas fuertes, ya que a veces no funciona

Good location

Poco personal , duré 4 días y no limpiaron la habitación , no tenían toallas suficientes, habitación súper pequeña , y el baño peor .

Me gusto mucho pues su personal fueron muy amable y amistosos, su ubicación tiene mayoría de restaurantes cercanos

Boa . Mas quanto sem janela , banheiro muito pequeno . Acesso do hotel junto à porta do quarto . Muito barulho sempre que entravam hóspedes .

Great location, safe neighborhood

Das Hotel wirkt mehr wie ein Hostel, alle Zimmer sind rund um den Aufenthaltsraum angelegt (unseres war nur mit einer Glaswand, davon getrennt), alles sehr hellhörig, Zimmertür aus Holz mit großen Rissen. Beim Frühstück sitzt man mit allen an einem Tisch, Frühstücksauswahl standardmäßig kolumbianisch ( Eier, Arepe, Früchte, Fruchtsaft und Kaffee (nicht gut)) Preis/Leistung stimmt in dem Fall nicht, man zahlt für die Location (sicheres Viertel, wo man am Abend aus rausgehen kann, viele Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe) Teuerstes “Hotel” auf unserer Kolumbienreise bis dato.

Will start by saying there was no air conditioning or tv in the room, I was alone and it was cool outside but room only had a fan. That said the hosts were amazingly nice, they cook you fresh breakfast every morning (yes they cook for you on the spot), you need a key to access the place so it is secure and comfortable. The location was also very central with a lot to do around the area. Definitely recommend.
