This place was amazing. Best staff we have ever had before. All friendly, super helpful, and great service. Highly recommend it.

The rooms are beautiful & the view is incredible. Staff is friendly, helpful & welcoming. The restaurant was outstanding. They made us feel very special. We will definitely return to Suitree. Next time we will stay longer.

Suitree is certainly a special experience with 360 views from tree house and thus lived up to expectations completely. The resort has a great natural feel to it but with construction of new tree houses underway during daytime, the noise spoils the peace and tranquility somewhat. The dining experience had a few issues such as slow delivery (breakfast with a tour arranged at 07:30 took over 40 minutes (and we were the only dinners), lack of fruit unless paid for extra plate and yet Costa Rica had fruit everywhere with other hotels fully including plentiful fruit & juices within their breakfasts. Coffee other than standard black is extra and in a 16 day trip this was the only example of paying for coffee. Whilst we had a dietary requirement (no tomato due allergy) and this was advised well in advance and on the day of order, the first day main course came covered in tomato after a long wait. Overall food quality was very good and made a good selection of wines albeit pricey. ATV tour locally was good and Giavanni was very attentive. Not much else to do in resort but lie by the pool though as there was no gym, or Yoga which we had hoped for (but were told it could be provided for $90!). Coco beach isn’t far away but the tree house experience is wonderful for a day or two so why head to a beach with these views? Checkout took an age due lots of confusion with charges on our I’ll which was resolved through a manual process. Overall a wonderful birthday to remember!

We stayed in the Ron Ron suite. Wonderful views. Great food and service at the restaurant. Hotel was difficult to find since it was the evening. The viewing platform had great views but lots of bugs and ants up there.

Our family just spent a week at the Suitree, which our daughter selected as our base in Costa Rica. We are so glad she did. Staying in such a unique, beautiful property added an additional level of enjoyment to the trip. The property is impeccable. Absolutely stunning and impeccably clean. The attention to detail was outstanding. The treehouses are gorgeous and interesting. Ours also featured a hot tub, which was a lovely place to hang out after dinner. We had selected the full board option, which turned out to be a good choice because the location is very remote. It would be difficult to leave the property for meals. We had to miss some meals while we were out on excursions, and were always sorry to do so, because the food was SO GOOD (although we wished there were more vegan options on the menu). We did not have a car, but had booked excursions with a service who picked us up from the hotel, and we booked two excursions through the hotel, so transportation was included in the price. Drivers from the hotel picked us up and brought us back to the airport. You will not find more attentive, kinder staff anywhere. They were always ready to help and eager to make sure our stay was wonderful. The Suitree is in a very remote location and you have to travel a minimum of 1/2 hour on difficult roads to get pretty much anywhere. This added to the charm and returning to our treehouse after a long day of activities was always such a pleasure. Pura Vida <3

A beautiful stay in Guayacan. Staff very helpful. Grace was our favourite, she spent time teaching our children Spanish and made us feel very welcome every time. We had an issue with the water but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. A unique experience that we really loved. Food was delicious, go half board if you can. The rooms need an extra air con unit on the bunkbeds side, but if you have the unit on all day and shut the curtains it's fine. Don't be put off by the drive up to the hotel, it's worth it!

Great menu with a lot of traditional dishes and some westernized meals. Amazing grounds and very comfortable beds. Amazing views.

We had a great night stay here as a family - the rooms are really incredible, staff can't do enough for you and were so great with our young kids. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because I felt the pictures on Expedia of all the greenery and trees surrounding the rooms isn't what it looked like in real life - maybe that's on me for the season we booked a stay (?) but we weren't up among the trees like I expected from the pics, more a stay on a hilltop. Either way I would recommend and really glad we stayed here - one night was enough with young kids.

If you are looking for an amazing, welcoming experience with easy access to Liberia Airport, then we cannot recommend Suitree highly enough! The staff made us feel like family for the duration of our stay and the food was exceptional and plentiful. Full board is a must and you will not be disappointed. Lounging by the pool or up on the balcony of our own treehouse was an ever-changing joy of relaxation. We were traveling with grandparents and children, and everyone in the group was delighted by the animals that came to say hello to us throughout our stay. Suitree is in the middle of expansion and we cannot wait to return once the new complex has been completed. Until then we will be dreaming of all the amazing meals. This was a wonderful way to start our Costa Rica adventure!

We had a wonderful time at Suitree. We arrived early on a very hot day. They allowed us to utilize the pool and swim up bar while waiting for our room. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Overall pleasant stay but don't expect lush green trees in March. I still highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a unique experience near Liberia.

100000% recommend! We had the most remarkable honeymoon at Suitree. Fly in to Liberia and they will pick you up and it’s about a half hour drive to the remote location. The treehouse suites are incredible with 360 views of the dry forest with a wrap around balcony. It is the perfect place for relaxation, quiet, and nature and the rooms are spotless clean and everything feels so new. What made the experience even more wonderful was the staff and the incredible food. The staff made our stay so lovely and found every opportunity to create special moments for us each step of the way. We felt so cared for. They even put together a honeymoon surprise dinner for us which was the greatest gift. The food was very delicious from breakfast, lunch, dinner. The menu is very dietary friendly with options for vegans, gluten free and more. The selection of cocktails, wines, and juices were outstanding. It is very kid friendly while at the same time is very romantic, calming, and intimate. We took part in several cooking classes with the chef, and went on several excursions including a fantastic jungle boat tour and tasty apiary tour. We also got couples massages in our suite. The property and room were spectacular. The restaurant was incredible and the quality of the cuisine was top notch. The cocktails were delicious. But the stand out was the staff. Giovanni, Paolo Bonilla, Greys, Brandon, and Johnny made us feel like this was our home away from home. Highly recommend. Incredible views from the rooms. The rooms were modern and well designed too. This is a truly unique hotel! The rooms are amazing and the sunset deck was the perfect spot to watch the sunset with a delicious cocktail. The pool was lovely and the restaurant had one of the best steaks I have ever had. Music on Saturday evenings was a bonus.

Food at restaurant was amazing and had a good selection. Ambiance of the place was great: peaceful and quiet. Gorgeous views and the suites themselves were beautiful.
