Pros Nice private beach with easy snorkeling access (for a fee at the dive shop). Beach is man-made, look into the history. I didn’t know before booking and if I did I probably would have found a more ethical place. Free and plentiful beach chairs and loungers. Lazy river was a fun little way to cool off as was the water slide! Kitchenette is great for making a few meals in the room and saving money. You can walk to the supermarket, about 15-20 minutes away. Cons Hotel provided limited amenities without a fee. Odd that you have to request a microwave in your room (even though it’s a kitchenette) and a blanket, and face towels. You only get 2 nespresso capsules for your stay. I think you can buy more from reception. Higher prices at restaurants but to be expected from a resort. A little bait and switch feeling at times. Yoga is offered on the website/expedia but it’s available for a fee like $10/day. Car rental is 2 day minimum, also not stated online. Room only cleaned every 3 days (so only once in my 5 night stay). There were a lot of little ants in the room. Plus sand and dust from all the wind. Seems like daily or even every other day cleaning should be provided. Power outage one day and nothing to provide alternatives/resources to guests.

Our bathroom had a leak and water went everywhere. The staff wasn’t friendly or apologetic and made us feel like we were bothering them when we asked to switch rooms. The room they tried to put us in smelled like urine so we ended up staying in our original room. They ended up fixing the leak but the experience was off putting and I wouldn’t return or recommend.

Room safe should be bigger to handle a laptop. More tubes for lazy river. Other than that, all good. We would come back to this resort.

Excellent snorkeling right off the beach!

It was the third time we stayed at the hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, the hotel beach is great. The Dive Center is excellent! I've stayed at other hotels in Bonaire, but after I met Chogogo

Very beautiful resort, right on the water with three restaurants and beautiful turquoise water. Rooms are very roomy and clean.

We enjoyed the great pool and ocean view right from our room, along with beautifully maintained surroundings. My husband also appreciated the onsite dive shop. The room was clean, with a convenient kitchenette. The food selection was limited, but overall good quality. Service was generally good as well, but a bit slow. We would stay again, and recommend to our friends and family. Thank you!

The hotel was quiet, relaxing and had everything needed for a short break away. Would recommend for solos couples and families. Snorkelling from front porch was great. Thanks to Nina and Emma at Bari for their excellent service.

This resort was amazing! The staff were super friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. We had an ocean view that was marvelous and we got to see the sunset any time we were in the room for it--otherwise, the view from the beach bar was the better option anyways. We also ate at Bina, which is their upscale restaurant and it was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip. We'll definitely be coming back again in the future and staying at Chogogo.

Gorgeous place! Didn’t like only 1 pillow per person and lack of extra sheet or bal let. WiFi was good. Kitchenette nice to have. Three dining options to choose from. Lazy river fun for adults and kids.

Hotel excelente! Ótimo atendimento por todos os funcionários. Assim que entrei no quarto, verifiquei que tinham presentes: uma bolsa de tecido para utilizar na praia e mercado, evitando assim as sacolas de plástico, além disso uma garrafa reutilizável para água (haviam bebedores espalhados pelo hotel). Super recomendo, a praia privativa do hotel é incrível. Muito próximo a praia Mambo Beach, lugar com um centrinho comercial e vários restaurantes (5 min caminhando).

They pay attention to details here, everything you could possibly need is in the room or easily asked for in the front desk. The plugs are European and they had the converters at the front desk. Every meal we ate the restaurants were amazing especially the ceviche. The dive shop was top notch, they had lockers and packages that fit every need. Had a great stay here and looking forward to our next visit.

Sehr angenehme Anlage mit tollem Strömungspool um die Gebäude, sehr schönem Strandrestaurant und Beach Bar. Schnorcheln vor dem Hotel ist klasse, auch nachts.

Peaceful and beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay there, with just two exceptions. The a/c was not on when we arrived to the room. Also, the beach bar service was honestly deplorable. The amount of money that resort is losing by having no service at all to anyone in the beach chairs was alarming.
