Fantastic hotel, perfect location and awesome breakfasts.

Perfect location! Close to all things Funchal. The rooftop pool was great and had a fantastic view. The restaurant is fine but better choices can be found off site. The breakfast is excellent though. Loved our room. Comfortable bed and strong shower. Quiet and clean.

The hotel had everything we wanted including a large bottle of water every day. Good location close to activities. Very polite staff throughout the hotel. Good fresh breakfast selection, spotless throughout and nice touches like the chocolate shop!

Das Hotel hat uns super gefallen. Das Personal war freundlich. An einem regnerischen Tag, konnten wir uns einen Regenschirm ausleihen. Die Vielfalt des Frühstücks war top! In unserer Dusche war die Dichtung des Duschkopfes defekt. Als wir an der Rezeption darauf hingewiesen haben, wurde dieser direkt ausgestauscht. Zu den einzelnen Zimmern und Etagen kommt man nur mittels einer Schlüsselkarte. Demenstprechend hat nicht jeder Gast Zugang zu den Wohnbereichen. Es gibt einen Pool auf dem Dach. Als wir gesehen haben, dass alle Liegen besetzt waren, sind wir in der Nähe des Hotels zu einem frei zugänglichen Schwimmbereich gegangen (4 min Fußweg entlang des Hafens). Alles in allem ist das Hotel weiterzuempfehlen! Die Lage ist im Zentrum Funchals.

Our stay of 2 nights was excellent. Staff was very helpful with any questions we had. We arrived early and they were accommodating to hold our luggages while we explored the area. The hotel is located at the heart of downtown a minute away from the famous colorful Madeira sign. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great junior suite, amazing shower. Breakfast, great choice, as so someone mentioned the breakfast rooms are not ideal for the number of guests, Would be much better to have it in main restaurant, whi ch is great. The building and location is top for Funchal.

Not exactly a 5 stars... Breakfast buffet open too late, bar at pool close at 5pm on Sunday and Monday, Staff at reception not interested to know how was our stay, main restaurant always empty...

Excellent location in the middle of old town. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff.

The location is perfect. You can easily walk to the marina, cable cars, shopping and dining. The room was great and the bed and pillows were exceptional. Breakfast is fine and coffee is a self service machine which was disappointing. The closest parking is a garage that is about a 7-10 minute walk. Street parking is impossible.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Very clean, modern and spacious. Gorgeous rooftop pool. Amazing breakfast buffet - rivals any 5-star hotel.

Service was impeccable but Lisbon is NOT safe! My daughter and her husband were cornered by 4 thieves with 2 more blocking the top and bottom of the street (with umbrellas hanging) just a few blocks from hotel before 11pm. They wanted money and my daughter alerted the security/bouncers of nearby bars and clubs who were watching but did nothing to stop an assault on tourists. She actually yelled " you see whats happening, will you do something?" They just looked on with disinterest. My son in law, a big and fit guy, threw 10 Euro at them and ran into a bar while the thieves yelled that they will wait for them to exit and follow them back. They finally left with a large group of exiting people and made it safely back, but beware, it is not safe and security/bouncers are in on the crime and will not help you! I WILL NEVER VISIT LISBON AGAIN - GARFITI ON WALLS SAYS : TOURISTS GO HOME - I WOULD OBLIGE THEM!
