Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though

Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is included as there was no signal in the accommodation at all. Would be lovely in winter as it appears to have underfloor heating which we were unable to turn off. Kitchen and hallway floors were very hot when you walked on them. Not great last night when it was about 18 degrees but would be lovely at any other time.

The 8-10 person studio Flat was ideal for our family get together and Good value for money. The Flat had 4 double bedrooms was clean and tidy with a kitchen area included. It is located on the second floor accessed by outside metal stairways.Those people with mobility issues will struggle to reach the Studio flat. The Owner was helpful and kept in contact due to our late check in. I would recommend as this is ideal for a large number of people to be accomodated.

Great overnight stay, hosts extremely helpful and friendly, and apartment most comfortable clean and cosy.

Stayed here for a three night business trip. Pros: Nice big, warm, well equipped apartment Cons: cramped car park, some noise from other apartments due to thin walls. Overall a nice apartment, would stay here again.

I found that everything positive in the reviews were true. Tony is absolutely lovely, he goes above and beyond for his guests. The furnishing of the house is great, very practical, super comfortable, modern and very good value for money. I am picky when it goes to cleanliness and I couldn’t fault it. Community were very friendly and welcoming. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found loads to see not too far away (may I just add as a vegetarian, I really enjoyed the Indian takeaway from a couple of doors down too!). We will be coming back :D Thanks again Tony

A lovely flat every amenity you could want and very cosy and warm when there was 2 inches of snow outside. Tony the owner couldn't be more helpful and I would thoroughly recommend the castle lodge if your wanting to stay in the area.

Lovely hideaway that is easy drive to anything you would need. Stayed in apartment 1 for 2 nights. Loved the really clean and well maintained apartment with a really nice bathroom and heated floors. Would return with no hesitation. Tony runs the place and was really friendly and helpful.

Brand new development in town centre with secure parking. Ideal location for exploring the town.

Great apartment, Parking was not a problem, WiFi was fast and Tony was really helpful on site. I had the 1 bedroom apartment with jacuzzi bath and it was very comfortable and clean.

Greeted very warmly by staff, good communication and contact with them pre-arrival and during the stay. Clean, warm apartment, well organised and set out, parking available too. Comfortable bed, lovely cooking facilities and kitchen equipment available!

The accommodation is inbuilt around a private courtyard. The property was renovated to a very high standard including a whirlpool bath. There is a small secure bike store and Tony couldn't have been more helpful. I have passed details of the Castle Lodge to friends and cycling clubs.

Fantastic stay , very comfortable bed , great staff in general amazing apartament
